Rest day but I did some sets of squats to prepare for the final two days. My knees were clicking today hope I can finish the challenge with more good then harm.0

Decided to push myself to get over 200 a day early. Did 50 extra squats today to get to 230, and no knee problems.0

You guys are going crazy on those squats. If we ever get another race going, and squats are involved, it'll be nothing for you two to just bust them all out in one set.
I injured my back recently, and bending over is a problem right now, but I seem to have no problems squatting if I need to get low to the ground. So I guess I've been doing my own squat challenge...1 -
Hope your back heals quickly Jenilla !1
-
Thanks, me too!0

Hope u get better soon. Be careful not to tweak it out any more by overdoing it. Work those squats...lol...even if they are by default!!1 -
Feeling a little better so I thought I'd try to start catching back up...got one day done. Guess I'm not as good as I was hoping. Day 23 done and 24 was a rest day. Still lots to go.1

Trying to cut out added sugar foods this month. Missing my ice cream.

Wow, that's amazing! Best of luck to you!!
I have had some very lazy days. Finally got up and worked out this morning but it was rough. Didn't do any additional strength so no more squats caught up nor did I start on any of the June challenges. Not sure what to do this month with my non-committal attitude! Lol. Hope you have a great start to your week!!
Hope your back is behaving a bit more @jenilla1!2 -
I do OK with the no added sugar until the evening hours, then I am craving them. (I had ice cream last night). I'm changing my challenge to REDUCED added sugar diet lol. For my morning exercise this month I've decided to do 10 reps of 10 exercises. I like to start my day off with some form of exercise. So I might do 10 jumping jacks, 10 bicycles, 10 squats, 10 seconds of planks etc. I like that I can mix it up. Have a good day!0

Lol, don't blame you! Eventually I want to get to where all my food choices are healthy but I know I am a long way off. I figure it's baby steps towards it. I'm definitely not one who can just simply say I'll stop eating something completely and just be able to follow through like that.
That's a good idea to just say 10 reps of 10 exercises. It doesn't seem too daunting. I might try that tomorrow. I'm trying to get myself up and do at least one 20 minute video, preferably two, but it depends when I get up. I've been trying to get into work a bit earlier too because I can't stay as late as I had been any more and we are still not completely out of our mess from the beginning of the year although it is definitely getting better.
Have a great day!1 -

That would be ideal, but I'm not sure if I could do it...
I could definitely cut back, though!1 -
So much for trying the 10 reps thing today...went back to bed instead of working out this morning. Did do a 20 minute & 30 minute walk yesterday. Hopefully I can get that in again today.1

I'm reading a book that recommends not saying the thing I won't be doing such as I am not going to eat sweets or junk food etc. This triggers your mind into wanting just the thing you have told yourself , it hears sweets and junk food and focus's on that. Instead say to yourself I will eat more fruits and vegetables to yourself throughout the day. Our minds then focus's on fruits and vegetables and reminds us to make those better choices. I will give it a try today. Have a good day Jenilla and Lesley!

Thanks Kim. I will have to start trying that strategy as well. I think I'm kinda in a funk as I didn't get up and workout again today. Hopefully tomorrow!! Hope everyone had a good Friday Eve!!2
