I went to the gym with the full intention of doing a cardio/strength interval class...and my 3 year old pitched a FIT when I tried to drop him off at the kids club. He usually really likes it there. Sooooo - he is napping now. That just might not be a good time of day to go for him (right after lunch). God lord I hope that is all it is! So after I got him napping I did one of my flow yoga videos.
195 burned leaving me 46480 -
I decided to stick with it. It's the keeping track that's hard, o I'm doing a spreadsheet. I've been swimming a lot and adding in body weight resistance (crunches, push-ups, squats, pelvic lifts) to help strengthen my body overall.
I can really feel a difference in my legs and my arms are buffing up.
Keep track of everything can be a pain. I'm glad you are sticking with it!!! I am not the strongest swimmer in the world so I usually don't swim for exercise, but you have inspired me!0 -

So I ended up doing 20 minutes of elliptical last night (So You Think You Can Dance can be quite motivating!), and I got up early this morning and did 30DS and a bit of pilates. This challenge was exactly what I needed - thanks!

I've started late (and slooooow) due to surgery so my first week was ZERO...this week so far I only have 161 from a half hour gardening attempt. Oh well, getting better so I'll pick up in a bit. :ohwell:0

My one week total:
1706 calories burned
=243 daily average
I'm squeaking in under the wire, but it's not for lack of trying. It's hard to get out with a squirmy 12-week old! I've been mostly walking (not my favorite) and swimming. I can't wait until I feel ready to run!0
