Sorry I haven't been around much - very busy!
@Just_Ceci - "Peer pressure is real" LOL That's awesome.
@vhuber - Sorry to hear about your knee. Keep us posted.
@taxmom9093 - Don't you hate it when the 15th falls on a Saturday and the deadline is extended 2 extra days?
Almost there. Hang on!
@2essie - Great to hear you are doing better than you expected!
@clepant - That's wonderful that you're running again and enjoying it! I doubt you're back at square one - I'm betting it will come back quickly, but don't overdo it.
As for me, I got in a three mile run this morning. Not a great one but I did it so that's what counts. I'm at 64/75.
Happy Easter!1 -

I'm totally shattered ... I ran 3.35 miles to the Park Run this morning (15 mins recovery), did 3.12m for the Park Run, (40 mins in the cafe with the team) then ran 3.41m home. My pace was good, for the most part. The last mile was hard and slow 14:56 (I walk faster LOL). I am extremely proud - I'm taking it as a distance PB!! The glass of wine and tiredness will mean I sleep well.
@vhuber - that sounds very painful - heal well. Divert some of that energy you spend on others to another good cause - YOU
edited to replace that which was erased by a pretty picture of a glass of wine2 -
Enjoy your chocolate treats, and doing what's needed to create the calories needed to eat it!!1 -

Happy Easter to those who celebrate this wonderful day. Count me in as one who does, as everything I am is because of what He did for me.
@k80flec: You are ambitious...well done. I don't think I would ever run to race, perhaps ride my bike. @Janet: I am sure the heat is rising in Florida so my hats off to you girl on your run. I dread the humidity coming. Soon it will be sucking air in a fish bowl.
@taxmom: Count me as happy for the extra days. Finishing my dad's tax this weekend.
April 15: Adding 13 1 miles of walking 4.6 miles and 8.5 miles of cycling.

A big congratulations going out to clepant on making goal! Way to go.
And another big congratulations going out to k80flec on her distance PB and park run - at a good pace!!! Don't worry about that last mile, it just means you pushed yourself to the limit which is a good thing. You certainly earned your Easter chocolate. Nothing like wine, chocolate, endorphins and maybe a little acetaminophen to make you feel on top of the world!
@scarfe9991 - your ticker updated by the time I got here so no worries.
As for me, I wanted to get in a run to earn my Easter dinner but somehow I slept until 8am!! (that never happens!) so I had to run as fast as I could so I wouldn't be late to church LOL. That puts me at 67/75.
Happy Easter!2 -
