@kar328 - bling is good, but I've heard 'supper runs' have benefits.
@taxmom9093 - that sounds like a frantic schedule- but it will be a proud moment for you and your mom to see your daughter graduate
@djmicheals - I felt your pain and your joy over your fitbit - what a star .... I hope your doctor appreciates that the staff are soooo marvellous.
@clepant - you work too hard to achieve those miles to write off the odd 100!
@vhuber - have you had the MRI yet?
@fanncy0626 - walking with hubby sounds ideal.
Hope everyone is having a fab weekend...0 -
@k80flec; Yes I had the MRI done late yesterday but I won't know till Monday or even Tuesday what the results are. We left @ 4:45 am for the city, it is a 4.5 hour drive. Had ortho appointment @ 9:45, saw my hormone therapist/dr @ 11, got glasses @ Costco, had lunch, went to ENT appointment @ 1:30, had MRI @ 4 & then traveled back home stopping for prescriptions & dinner. Got home @ 9:45. What a day... I'd much rather do strenuous work!
I did "carefully" walk ((1)) mile today. I just needed to move & get some fresh air. I had to laugh @ my husband. He said from a quarter of a mile away I was moving so slow that he couldn't tell which direction I was going. I really wasn't moving THAT slow. LOL

@vhuber - love the new pic. All good thoughts for the MRI results. That was one busy day!
@clepant - throwing a hundred miles around like it was nothing LOL!
@kar328 - you pinned on the bib so now it's real - ha ha. That's exactly how I feel every time. Somehow we still have the courage to make it to the start line. Congrats!
I went for a 3 mile run this morning and logged quite a few more fitbit miles running around today. Unfortunately I had a slice of pizza for dinner so now I'm over on calories :

I'm assuming this means dinner after the fact. I'm good with that too. I inhaled my 'nana, Clif Bar and Jelly Bellys after this one, then went home and had eggs.
