Saturday was the Spring Square to Square bike event from Fayetteville to Bentonville on the Razorback Greenway. I rode from Bentonville to Fayetteville and back for a total of 61.83 miles.
This already puts me at goal. Once again, not doing a very good job of guessing how much movement I will be doing.
Crazy! We'll have to get together when you come visit him! I love it here- so many opportunities and so much to do!0 -

@VHUBER - That's great news that you've been cleared to get out and speed walk now!! I know you were itching pretty bad to get back out there!

Excellent news @vhuber - just don't get over giddy!!
@JTH11706 - I'll do it, but I'll need to be reminded nearer the time. As you identified, the dates are UScentric ..... so I could miss the start!!
@clepant - crazy cycling got you over the finish line - fabulous1 -

@k80flec: I try to cycle a few miles each night while I unwind for the day. Helps take the arthritic stiffness out...lol. Glad you are joining the streak.
@Janet: I am going to challenge my staff to do the streak as part of our wellness committee. I will have some kind of drawing for my participants. Got to make a recording sheet but I will encourage them to do a purposeful walk or running mile. Drawing when they come back to school in August.0 -
Walked 2.62 miles today.

@Just_Ceci , Oh that sounds good & its nice to know he will have lots to do. He works in the oil & will be closer to his job than he was in the Dakotas. He works two weeks on two weeks off. His girlfriend convinced him to move there.
@Janet, I will do the Streak Run. I know I will be good to go. (fingers crossed)
Got in 10 today from exbike (7.5) and careful jog/speed walking (2.5). The knee feels pretty good.
@clepant, I did ace wrap it but I'm curious as to how you wrap yours. I do not want to wear that big bulky brace I wore prior to surgery ever again.

I went for a 3 mile "run" this morning. It was crazy hot and humid out so it involved a lot of walking. I'm at 40/75. I'll try to remember to remind everyone when the Runner's World streak begins. It's Monday, May 27th.1

@JTH11706 - Whit Monday, or May Bank Holiday. Now I've made the connection I may remember it. Friday, Sunday and Monday will be my challenging days. Grandbabies and rest days!!
@anaconda469 - ouch!! That sounds like pain on so many levels..
@clepant - it must be about time to get my bike back on the road (rather than just suggesting it might be a good idea!!)
@vhuber - a slow return will equal a real return. I'm glad you're beginning to test your strength.

@vhuber: I never used an ace wrap. For my triathlon, I found a simple knee brace but I lived in and occasionally still use KT tape when it feels sore or I am over using. YouTube has easy videos to follow. I probably could tape anything from hips down in my sleep. I also got a strap for below my knee from the local pharmacy store. It helped stabilize it. KT tape and icing every evening or after work outs. I also did and still do band work. Monsters to strengthen those muscles and supporting ligaments. I also use Pro KT tape, it holds up for more days. I pat dry in the shower and use a hair dryer to completely dry it.
May 17: Adding 13.75 miles of walking and running 7.75 miles and cycling 6 miles
TTD: 232.54 miles
