Last night was supposed to be my bike club ride (the club that rides at night with the bikes covered with Christmas lights). We only got halfway through the ride when it was called on account of threatened rain and lightening. So I went back today and did the other half of the ride. Gorgeous day for a ride. Hope you all had a wonderful day and happy mother's day. Puts me at 34/75.1 -

@djmicheals - Look forward to hearing how DH's closet purge went! :-)
@clepant - I really have no words (but a lot of anger) for that marathon. I have done a lot of Half Marathons and while my times aren't fast, they are all important to me. I can't begin to imagine finishing a Full Marathon and not having an official time. I am literally sitting here still shaking my head.2 -

Saturday was the Spring Square to Square bike event from Fayetteville to Bentonville on the Razorback Greenway. I rode from Bentonville to Fayetteville and back for a total of 61.83 miles.
This already puts me at goal. Once again, not doing a very good job of guessing how much movement I will be doing.

3 mile run this morning puts me at 37/75.
Who is doing the Runner's World Streak? The rules are that you have to run at least one mile a day every day from Memorial Day (May 29th) to 4th of July (yes, the dates are very American but anyone can do it). That's 37 days of consecutive running. I'm in. Who else?0 -

That sounds great! I hope my knee can do a slow jog by then!!0 -
I got the stitches out on my knee on Friday. Got the green light to speed walk & can do hills. No deep knee bending (which I wouldn't anyway cuz it hurts like crazy if I do) or jumping yet. So I have been doing some miles but my goodness the winds have been HORRIBLE here. NO rain & we are needing it to get our crops out of the ground.
Here is my mileage update;

@Janet: I am in for the Runner's World Streak. I usually run one mile around my neighborhood before work in the morning or with my kids from now till the end of the year.
May 15: Adding 13.5 miles of walking, running and trail hike for 8.5 miles and cycling for 5 miles
