The Inter-Club race was a very hard 5 miles. Very warm with a strong headwind that was driving up the Irish Sea from the SW. But I did get a PB, taking 7 mins off my last 5 miler on Christmas Eve. YaY

May 12: All I can say is the weekend never looked so good after the crazy week I had. I often wonder if they can get any wackier. But of course it was a full moon too and I swear it has some Influence on kids behavior.

I think you're right about the full moon. My kids were out of sorts the last couple days and it's been a full moon. We had to keep one home from school Thursday and the other home on Friday. Better they have meltdowns at home than at school.2 -

Hi! I'm back! It was a long week and a half on the road and I am seriously behind on my miles but I had a good visit with mom, got #2 son moved out of his dorm and moved in with #1 son for the summer and now I am back in sunny Florida. There was a lot to do but on the upside it was nice to be needed. I did a fair amount of moving my @ss but I didn't count most of it as purposeful exercise so I have a lot of catching up to do. I went for a 3 mile run this morning to get me back in the swing of things.
@Chris - I was near Los Angeles on the coast and there was a cold wind blowing the whole time. The East Bay is always warmer than the coast!
Sorry all the teachers and parents are suffering from full moon madness.
Happy Mother's Day to the mom's in the US (hey and to all the mom's even if it's not celebrated tomorrow where you are).1 -
@Dean : Bless you for keeping your kids home. I am sure their teachers would thank you. We had bully prevention week and I handled 18 pretty serious cases of verbal bullying. So much for being aware of of bullying.
@Welcome home Janet. Sounds like you had pretty busy trip.
Happy Mother's Day to all mothers out there. Hope your day is especially good to you.

ETA Gorgeous da for a run, followed by a walk along the prom with DH. Making the most of the sunshine and warmth as we're due a change - the weather front on its way is wet and yucky - think someone on the other side of the pond is trying to share ....
