ON A SIDE NOTE... Use more taco seasoning then you think you'll need... The meat has flavor but the quinoa is pretty bland lol
It's really good!! That will become a staple for us. We had taco salads and it was great, thanks for the idea!
NO PROBLEM! It's seriously one of my favorites. Glad you and the fam enjoyed!0 -
Here's dinner last night - ate most of it, AND a few starburst and some sugar free popsicles for around 1400 calories, and BOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY was I stuffed! Gravy turned out DELICIOUS though! Was going to cheat and make it from the mix, but broke down and did it from scratch.

Thanks Sandy!! It really was... I adjusted the calories today though bc I didn't believe that all that promises was only 500 cals lmao...so I did some more research and ended up right around 1750 so I'm happy1 -
Dinner last night - the favorite go-to of lettuce tacos - so good and so filling! I ate that whole head of romaine - NO SHAME! LOL I had a few snicky snacks after because we'd just gotten fresh groceries, and had things to try! Plus a few starburst and some sugar free popsicles.
Total cals - 1660 or so

Have you tried them yet?! I might make more tonight - the nice thing is my little sister who works second shift in a very physical job loves tacos and is OBSESSED with this taco meat mixture, so if I make a big batch, even if I eat it only once it's gone in 2 days because she eats a bunch when she gets home after I'm in bed LOL.

WEDS WEIGH IN!!!
VICTORYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!
I was honestly expecting to show a gain this week - aforementioned sister is a horrible influence and we had cocktails ALL weekend. ON TOP of that, I didn't OMAD sat or sun due to the cocktails and a really wonky schedule. My cals were over and I wasn't in a fasting state for nearly as long as I like to be. ADD TO THAT I went to go weigh in this morning before work (remember my DR is in my work building, super convenient) and all the rooms were full! I like to weigh in first thing because I don't want to drink a bunch of water before I weigh in so I get a consistency to it. Since I had to wait til after my 9am Wed meeting, I went ahead and had a big cup of hot green tea knowing my weigh in wasn't going to be great anyway anddddd......

ALSO forgot my NSV - I've been wearing yoga pants and leggings to work because, let's be serious, if I can get away with it I do it. However, I forgot to change the laundry over last night so had none try - I put on some dress pants for the first time since before I started in May (at that time my 16s were tight) and they were 14s and they are REALLY LOOSE in the legs and butt..the waist still fits normally but STILL - quite exciting!
PLUS the nurse at my DR said she can really tell the difference when I went in to weigh1 -
Nice loss and AWESOME NSV!!!1

OMAD last night - I couldn't decide on breakfast or dinner food SO I had half a BLT and half a turkey sausage and egg sandwich, some french fries, and a salad with homemade ranch. I didn't eat all the salad but I did add some cashews, some starburst, and 2 sugar free popsicles. Total cals 1700 and I was super happy and full

Omg, love your indecision, your meal looks great, as usual!0
-
You are doing so well!
I think we are on the same page with the bad influences in our lives that force us to drink!! (Obviously it's got nothing to do with us... It's all them. )0 -
-
You two gals are too funny! Finally, a blame shifting scenario that is actually true!1
-
I switched to drinking flavored vodka and Pepsi Max this weekend - at least there aren't so many calories... I just pretend they are delicious cocktails!! My Sangria with lots of oranges and lemons was probably way more calorific than I realized!1
-
LOL, probably.0

Breaking the fast OMAD - It's a sammy with turkey pepp, reg pepp, salami, pastrami, havarti cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and red wine vinegar. It was DELICIOUS, however I WAYYYYY overestimated the amount of bread to other stuff ratio so I ended up ripping literally half the bread off....and then salad with homemade ranch and some cheddar, a banana popsicle, and a tootsie roll pop. Around 1750 cals. I was hoping to get a little lower but since that was breaking my normal fast, I'm not super upset about it. I'll stay a little lower hopefully the next few days.
Also due to the holiday I'm splitting up my extended fasts this week to Monday and Weds so I can partake on the holiday.
Aiming for 3.8 2-week loss next week Thursday when I weigh in (I didn't weigh this week for a couple reasons, but that's ok )
Happy OMADing beautiful people!
