Tracey's OMAD Journey

First day back on the Omad wagon for me...your meals made my stomach growl and it's not even 9 am yet! You've written many chapters in your OMAD book, you've got this!0

Wow, it's been 4 days since I posted on this thread. I must say those 4 days had found me out of sorts as far as my eating went. I ended up picking up 6 pounds, but I am back to losing now and am going to do my best to not let things get out of hand again. I know I have the willpower to resist when I am surrounded by food, but somehow it escaped me these last few days.
I thought about doing a 3 day water fast and eating Keto OMAD after that, but I don't think that will be necessary. When I stick with OMAD how it should be done I do great so I am going to do that. I have 31 days until my established maintenance start date (Nov. 10) and I have 13 pounds to lose to reach my goal of 144 pounds by then. I will just do my best to stick with basic OMAD and I will start maintenance at whatever weight I am on November 10th if I have not gotten to 144 pounds.
I will be back to posting my meal pictures today. Yesterday was a Chipotle Sofritas Burrito (no picture taken).0 -

That looks like a great meal. I like all those things a lot!
Tonight I had a large salad with a lot of chicken in it and about 40oz of milk and a couple pieces of home-made apple pie. I spread it out in my eating window.0 -
It was very yummy indeed!0

Official Friday Weigh in: Weighed in today at 152.4. A loss of 1.8 pounds from last Friday but 0.7 up from the Friday before. My challenge is to keep the weight moving in the downward direction over the weekend. I can do it , I will do it. OMAD all the way, no exceptions.
On a side note, I have stopped doing the vegetarian days. I think I had been overdoing the meat on the meat days so I am just going back to regular meals with meat. I have lost a good amount of weight the past two days eating my OMAD meals with meat. I think in my mind I was saying I need to get this meat in because I have to go the next 4 days without it.

Thats a good plan0

It is a plan that has proven to work for me. It gets difficult sometimes as I am the only one in my household eating this way. My husband is supportive about 85% of the time, but other times he is somewhat of a saboteur. But it is ultimately up to me whether I give in or not. I am now again below 10 pounds to goal weight. I am determined this time to not go back up. Food will always be around but I have to have the I can have this but not right now mindset and keep my eating to my OMAD meal time.
I was offered cake at work today and I said no. I then thought well I can get a piece and take it home to eat with my meal. Then I said no again. The battles in the mind can be won. Score one for me. I didn't even go to where the cake was.
I am still on the challenge with Britt to be at 147 by Oct. 21st. I am 5.4 pounds from that goal with 8 days remaining. If I don't deviate, I think I can do it.1 -
