You can do an infinite combination of when, what, and how much you eat to come up with a plan. Whatever works and is healthy!

I missed your picture before - super cute, you have a lovely figure and I love love love your short hair. I've had short hair most of my life - this is the first time in many years that I've let it grow longer than a few inches. I kind of want to see how long I can get it before I'm too old (not that I believe in that stuff about old women not having long hair...).

LOL I'm the opposite! I've had my hair long for most of my life, though when I was losing weight significantly the last time, about 8 years ago, I did cut it above my shoulders for a while... It was cute, but a lot to maintain so I grow back out LOL

HaHa...I'm an old lady (just turned 61 :# ) and this is my hair today...It's easier for me to have it long because I can pile up on my head when walking and exercising...plus...I don't like making time to go to the hair salon. That's my natural color too.dsfnwwnb904d.png

Don't you long hair people just find it so ANNOYING?! Unless it is tied up it blows around in the wind, sticks to my lip balm and just generally gets on my nerves! Plus I sweat when I exercise and then I have to wash it every day which takes ages and then it either takes ages to dry or I have to spend time blow drying it. When it was short, washing it was so easy and quick and it never bugged me.... I do have horrible thick but fine stick straight (aka lank) hair (believe it or not I got a perm a few months ago just to try and deal with the crazy straightness - can't understand people with lovely curly hair who straighten it).

Kat - your hair looks like it has body or some wave to it - mine has none of that goodness going on! I love going to the hair salon - every six weeks like clockwork for me - totally a habit formed in my very short hair days - there is no reason for me to go so often now, but I love the pampering! I will even go to one of those blow dry only places just so someone else can take care of washing and drying and volumizing my locks. Plus, the head massage!

I used to have wavy hair and now it's stupid curly/frizzy. I used a hot iron on it that day. My hair never seems to get oily so....I can easily go 10 days without washing it. I always have it on top of my head when I walk or work out. I find it a whole lot more work when it's short or shorter because then I have to style it more often. I pretty much hate being pampered....find it hard to let anyone do anything for me....I would have to die first before I ever got a massage lol :#

I get regular massages too... You are missing out - just sayin'! :) I do love being pampered. I'm actually sitting at my PC right now, not doing a very good job of working and wondering if I should go and get a foot massage or a pedicure or something...

I used to wear my hair pretty long, too, and never planned to cut it:

    vwi7hbqdixo2.jpg
(I wasn't wearing a shirt and back fat was REAL back then)

But then I shaved the sides and back off last year when I moved to Miami. It was way too hot!
I didn't realize then that short hair requires so much maintenance! And my hair is super curly and shrinks up anyway, so that was honestly just a dumb decision. Now I am letting it grow back so I can put it back up LOL! I won't cut it again, so I will be the old lady with the silver ponytail. I don't do salons, but I do enjoy giving myself scalp massages every night! Feels AMAZING!

Well I opted not to do my water fast today and just do a reduced calorie OMAD meal.

I just came across the nourish bowls after one of my coworkers brought one in to work. I bought three of them to try the different flavors. I liked the southwest chipotle. I think I will try it in an omelet. I also have the cauli-rice curry and the sesame sriracha.

The brussel sprout one is the only one with meat. The rest are vegetarian. The ones with cheese have the cheese in a separate pouch so it can be omitted to make the bowl vegan. All three of the ones I got are vegetarian.

YUMMMM! That looks great, Tracey! I loooove me some hush puppies. I need to figure out how to make them so that I can eat them. Those and jumbo lump blue crab cakes (I'm a Maryland snob) are truly the ONLY things I miss as a vegan.

    Britt,

I found a couple of vegan recipes for hush puppies you may want to give a try.

OOOOh, I love me some crab cakes. My sister made some crab cakes on my vegetarian day so I didn't get to eat any. She always makes the good stuff on days I am not eating the stuff.

Thank you, Tracey! I'm going to try one of those recipes this weekend with my gluten-free flour. GF flour is SO much more absorbent than regular flour, so I always struggle with the conversion.

And that's so mean! Lol! That always seems to happen to me, too. It was always the first day of whatever diet I was on that someone decided to cook something amazing or get some once-in-a-lifetime food that I would have to resist. UGH.

My sister, to me, makes the best hush puppies ever. I have to get her recipe because she will not be staying with me forever.

Oooooo that looks very good. It looks plentiful, but do you notice a difference in hunger the day after you eat meat or not?

    tlblanksfit Posts: 1,573 Member
I don't notice any difference following my vegetarian meal days and my meat MEAL days.
