    I just saw the calorie versus behavior discussion... very applicable to me tonight. I didn't go crazy, but I definitely ate emotionally tonight, even after the point I felt I should have had a enough. So...

    Thank you for the feedback about the behavior vs. calories. When my brain isn't living in binge-land, I think there is more than enough room for days that are both high in calories and high in control. For example, my mother made a brisket for me this weekend. I enjoyed every bite of every meal we had from that and didn't worry about the calories. Neither my mother or I cook much these days, so to have meals that don't come from the deli or freezer section is a nice treat for both of us! Now, however, it's time to get back on track...

    A huge milestone for me this week is that I'm no longer considered Morbidly Obese by the medical community or insurance companies, based on my BMI (Body Mass Index) of 39.8--I haven't been able to say THAT for at least 15 years!
