    Starting training for a end of November event, then the insanity call the Hangover ride on NY Day. I don't drink so it will be interesting to see the condition of some riders. Bike shop told me there will be a couple hundred riders.

    10/22 - 23.0 miles turbo trainer

    @Leanz - well done on completing that marathon, particularly if you were feeling under par.
    @JTH11706 - good thinking Batwoman, I can spend some time on the stationary bike!!
    @clepant - not a failure, a work in progress maybe :)
    @kar328 - a fantastic mile!
    @anaconda469 - not quite so strenuous, but I’m hoping to do a Park Run 5k on NY Day - the day after my birthday!! It was great fun last year.

    @Kar328: Ditto to Janet's comment. I don't even remember ever running an 8....9 definitely but no 8. Good job!
    @anaconda469: You amaze me.
    @vhuber: keep reminding me....please. I am so sorry your heel is still giving you issues. I guess the Protalis were a flop. So sad they have not worked.

    Oct. 22: Adding 10 for Sunday. I have been having some issues with eyes, agitation, shakes, confusion,headache, lack of appetite, nervousness, drowsiness and I think I figured out what is going on. I think my Dilantin level is too high again since the doctor insisted on increasing them. I have been experiencing this for two weeks now. At least I feel better because I thought it was dementia setting in.

    Adding 2.1 miles. Part of today's Boot Camp was picking cards to see which exercise we were all doing and if joker popped up, the person had to roll a big die to see how many laps around the turf we had to run. Luckily no one rolled the six. (well, someone kind of did, then quickly gave it a little kick and it flipped to the 1)

    I am going to have to drop my mileage this month down to 35. MTD, I only have 23.97 miles in and feeling quite craptastic about it.

    The past 10 days have been ridiculous with seizures, testing, and doctor appointments-no reason for the seizures they can find. I beat the holy snot out of myself, my right side looks like someone took a cricket bat to it. I am also back to the Thou Shalt Not Drive commandment, which is lousy because I live 10 miles out in the blasted country. :'(

    On the flip side, since I'm back to the Thou Shalt Not Drive, no travel out of the area which got me out of a work conference on Thursday *AND* a family reunion this weekend. :p

    @JTH11706 - thanks , I think. Not sure I enjoyed the exercise bike!

    @djmicheals - that sounds like a rough few weeks (glad there was a silver lining). My thoughts and best wishes are with you.

    Two hours and three YouTube videos later, I changed the flat on my bike. I also installed LED front & rear lamps, cleaned, lubed, etc everything.

    Maybe I still have time this month to get a couple of rides in.

    My mileage for the week coming up soon.

    10/18 - 2.15m dog walk
    10/19 - 1.6m dog walk
    10/20 - 3.4m dog walk
    10/21 - .70 dog walk ("rest" day)
    10/22 - 2.2m walk w/ dog

    @djmicheals: So sorry to hear about your situation. Been there...a year without no driving. Never found a reason, chewed my tongue raw and couldn't even suck through a straw for a week. All my seizures were in my sleep. I still take the same med 36 years later and never had another one after having three. I will keep you in my prayers that things work out.

    Oct. 23: Adding 12 miles of running with my kids, purposeful walking and one hour of refereeing up and down my gym.
    TTD: 270 miles

    @k80flec - sorry you didn't enjoy it. But look at all the miles :wink:

    I'm in the city today. Between walking errands and a nice run in Central Park I'm now at 60/75. I think I've got this....
