Thanks everyone for being here. I am not even halfway through the medication removal yet, but reading everyones posts gives me such a lift. Particularly the rough patch I'm going through right now.

@ANACONDA469 - Hang in there...you're doing great! We'll continue being here for you and do whatever we can.
@K80FLEC - Meant to reply to you yesterday, but I was distracted by something shiny. Sorry to hear your struggling a bit. This time of year is a real challenge with all of the busy-ness and stress...coupled with the often less-than-cheery weather...way more like gloomy weather. You hang in there too and we'll all get through this! :flowerforyou:
Haven't done this in a while, but it seems like a good time now. If you need a little pick-me-up, how about a (((GROUPHUG))) or (((GROUPFISTBUMP))) if you prefer.
Dave

@Dave - the group hug has helped. But I am reminded that my troubles are negligible compared to the challenges others face. I think I just needed a therapeutic rant and it’s nice and safe to do that here.
@anaconda469 - I can’t begin to imagine the trials of weaning off a strong prescription medication, but my thoughts are with you.1 -
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you and I truly mean that. I am sorry for the many issues some of you are experiencing.
Some times I need reminded that my life is full and I am blessed with the love of family and fur babies and friends. God has given me abundantly and yet at times I can feel slighted. When I look at what an amazing adventure my life has been, I cannot imagine what is around the corner. I am trying to stay positive on all the possibilities that are ahead of me. No regrets.....nothing I can do to change the past. Stay strong folks.
Yesterday while helping the girls in a game vs the boys a fifth grade girl said to me, “I bet you would be an awesome babysitter Ms. Lepant because you always like to have fun.” What a special comment. Today a second grade girl sat beside me as we both got out and we’re waiting to get rescued by our team. She said, “l never had you till this year and I am so glad I do. You play the best games and like to have fun. Now I know why my big brother always liked having you for his teacher.” Can there be an better reward than such sweet words. They take away all the struggles of daily teaching. If only I could lock myself in my gym with my kids,

Thanks everyone, I do appreciate it. Coming off an opiate derivative is not fun. Living alone makes it a bit tougher. But I have my cycling/turbo trainer which gets the endorphin going and that helps a lot. Got a Dr appt after Christmas, we may cut the dose again. But I am noticing on this second cut, my anxiety is bugging me. But my sleep is stabilizing which is good. I am journaling each day, so I can keep stuff straight. We got a couple of snowflakes today......I an completely underwhelmed.

Finally getting snow. These long shifts make it hard to get out and enjoy it, but weekends don't last forever.0

Welcome back to the land of Internet.
@Anaconda469: You are stronger than you realize. You have faced many adversities. I like to call them training for the big one. So here it is and you will make it. You are on my prayer list.

@JTH11706 - we do cold, dark and damp particularly well. Wherever you are over here, I hope you’re warm and comfortable, and that you’ve not been too restricted by the wet, yucky snow.
@anaconda469 - if the log cabin is as snug as it looks - it would suit me too.
