Also doing work for a customer from home. Was supposed to be on holiday but not away, not having family commitments so started back early as needs required.

Hello my darlings. I have been awol for the last week. I was so humiliated and disgusted with myself for gaining weight over the Christmas holidays that I made things worse by avoiding the scale and all things that keep me accountable.
Today I gave myself a smack in the forehead. Tomorrow is my weigh-in day and I hope I am back on track for my sake and the teams. It shocks me sometimes how easily I can be sidetracked from my determination to maintain a healthier lifestyle. Anyhow, welcome to all the new members.

Exercise: Long walk, we were striding along the Skagit River, looking at eagles!
Tracking: always.
Fun day today, walked the Skagit River, looking for eagles. They show up here in January to eat the salmon who have died after spawning. Managed to spot 13 eagles, mostly juvenile, but a couple also fully mature (i.e., with the white feathers on head.) Lots of fun!1 -

Sorry for the gain team!! That's what happens when I fall off the wagon! Haven't worked out much besides walking since I was in the hospital. I need to start that up again along with logging in My Fitness Pal and posting in here. Didn't realize how all of that really helped me.
Next week I will start working out and me and my husband plan on meal planning as well to help with the nutrition!

Well the Holiday season is over, but unfortunately for me, that just means bday season has arrived! Today is my bday (37) next Saturday is my bf’s dad’s bday and the following Saturday is my bf’s bday so pretty much every weekend in January! So the mindfulness through celebrations must continue. So far so good. I’m celebrating by getting my hair done and painting pottery as opposed to “going out” We’ll see how the rest of the month goes! Looks like everyone is having a great first week and starting to get back on track after an indulgent December (for most of us)!4
