The comedic ones are the best type, aren’t they? Lol
Oh, I can easily tell so I know my sis can... fresh/frozen peas are a gorgeous, perfect, and lovely green, whereas, and not to bash Del Monte because I love their canned peas, but canned peas of any kind look more like an off green. Lol

Overall a good day ---just have sucked at getting my water in. I have got to do better with that.....Not sure what my prob is I guess just lazy bones …..

Mmmm, tacos! The coffee chip yogurt bar... I better not get them or I’d eat the whole pack in one sitting! 😂
I’m going to ask here since I see this so much... Do many have a daily water goal or something? Are you feeling dehydrated? I ask this because I drink water, coffee, (added to my getting plenty of fluids category) I have no ounces goal to meet. If I’m thirsty, I drink, if I am not, I don’t. If I have a day where my mouth feels dry after plenty of fluids, I know I am lacking sodium because my body isn’t holding water—which isn’t a good thing. When that happens, I take a teaspoon of salt.
I know “they” say to drink “x” amount of water a day, but a new study with some new “they-ers” say it’s unnessary to drink a set amount of water if you’re not thirsty or dehydrated. Of course, that doesn’t mean we want to replace water with sugary drinks.
Anyway, just trying to understand all the water comments by getting some inside info.1 -
I really just try to drink at least 100 oz a day and really it is based on the some of the old studies drink at least 64 oz a day. I can always tell that is helps with bloat especially after a meal of salty stuff (tacos for sure)….
That is good on the new study though. I can also tell if I don't drink enough sometimes my body just feels a bit dehydrated. I also drink at least one diet coke/diet dr pepper a day with zero cals but not in the "water category"...….on the weekends usually a diet red bull or some type of energy drink is included...…
Taking the salt is a great idea ---I'll have to steal that one from you I have had that happen before but had not realized it was due to lack of sodium

I totally understand. So many studies! And thank you for the insight. My huge Yeti thingy is always filled with water, green tea or black tea throughout the day, and then I’ll have a couple of regular glasses of water. I’ve tried to stop drinking anything after 3pm to help me not have to get up and pee dieting the night... my bladder laughs at my attempts. 😂
I bought some ancient fine sea salt, it’s actually quite good.0 -
I haven't seen the ancient fine sea salt. I am on the pink sea salt kick ---it is delicious especially with a margarita1
-
@volgirl1322 You just had to bring up margaritas! Omg, I’m a huge fan of them. I can only have one small glass though from this Mexican place we go to sometimes because they’re so potent... apparently I get mean, according to my husband. I think he’s being overly sensitive. Lol
Homemade ones are different even though I don’t go light on the tequila. Oh, the grains in my salt are pinkish and white. I also love Himalayan pink salt, I have that here as well.0 -
That is it the Himalayan pink salt i had a brain fart and couldn't remember the actual name.....Love it....
I love the salt also with pink grapefruit juice ---yummy...…
Tequilla just makes my clothes come off LOL1 -
I just bought more pink sea salt. I put it in my coffee grounds and it makes it less bitter.0
-
Lmao over your tequila comment. That’s too funny!0
-
Ahhhhhhhahshahahaha yessssssss to tacos and margaritas...i love tequila... And it doesn't seem to yet be a required pre-requisite to me inappropriately getting less dressed than I should be1

Hump Day: May 8th
OMAD: Food truck at the ball field. I had a bang bang chicken bowl, chicken, pineapple jalapeno sauce, carrots, zucchini, grilled chicken, all over jasmine rice. The sauce was delicious and also had toasted coconut and green onions on top. YUMO
A few sugar free jollys as well.....
Today: Will either be a mini fast or water fast ---just not sure depends on how the night shapes up. We will see.
Here is the food porn:

Happy Monday---
Hope you all had a fabulous Mother's day …..
It was a crazy busy day Friday and this weekend too so I am far behind on posting and catching up ....
Last Friday's weigh in was just meh --161 so only down 1lb. I am not sure what this 1lb deal is, but I am seriously hoping for better results this week.
Weekend Food:
Friday: IHOP after baseball, 2 over easy eggs, 2 crispy bacon, and 2 pecan pancakes, Yummy
Saturday: OMAD Pizza, salad, and some home made angel food cake with strawberries and whipped topping
Sunday 2Mad, greek yogurt, granola, strawberries.
Dinner out at Chuys: chili relenos, green chili rice, refried beans, and chips and salsa, and of course a margarita
I did spin every day for 30 mins, and am hoping some of those results will show up this week when I weigh.....
Really great weekend, but the sodium from last night whoa.....
Hoping for a larger loss this week.1 -
You've got this babe! I only got a pound off too - we're getting into the territory where the big losses will start to become fewer and further between - I've come to terms with it - I'm adding the exercise it too so I'll be in the same boat as you!!!1
-
Congrats on the 1 pound loss!0
-
Well done on the loss, and agree with Steph that you’re in the territory now of slower losses.
Omg, all the food you had last weekend sounded delicious and you had a good time to boot! Cheers! My yesterday’s margaritas to yours0 -

Monday 5.13.19
Dinner Homemade chicken parm that I baked in the oven. It turned out amazing but I thought it could be a fail. I didn't have any bread crumbs, or corn flakes to use to coat my chicken, but I had some pork rinds --BOOM put those bad boys in the food processor and dipped my chicken in egg wash, then the pork rind crumbs and baked. OMG it was so crunchy and good!!!! Both my boys (who sometimes can be picky) wanted more …..WIN
Also made some creamed spinach and mashed cauliflower......it was a great dinner
Exercise: Spinning and work walking...
Today --another baseball game so will prob do a min fast and have a salad after the game!
Have a good week peeps!

Aren't pork rinds fabulous for chicken? I still can't believe it and neither can my husband, crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. He's not even doing low carb. Your veggie dishes sound incredible as well. Yummmmmmmyyyyy!0
-
Salivating over here... wish you could send some over! Have never tried it before but I think I might have to as its sounds delicious. Wish you have taken a photo of it...yum0
