How did your weekend go, Donna?0

Hi Everyone,
I had a good weekend. I did a 2mad on Saturday and Sunday but nothing really crazy or to be considered a splurge. For some reason yesterday I got off track some and ended up eating some cheese nips around 4 before dinner. I just couldn't stop and have no idea why. I think it had to be stress related as I really wasn't starving. I still have to be able to rein in the emotional or stress eating, because it will sneak up on you.
Anyway I will do my pre-weigh in tomorrow and my main weigh in on Friday. Would love to see 182 by the end of the week but not sure if that will happen or not. I do know the plan works and I will not give up or give in!

Isn't it amazing how stress can override good sense? I'm the same way and I'm working on trying to overcome that, too. OMAD definitely makes it easier, but still a struggle.
You're doing great! Life gets crazy but you're working through it.0 -
I hope you have a good weigh in, Good luck0

Rooting for that 182 on the scale for you!0

Cheese crackers are my enemy. I love them, but once I start munching on them, I need all of them in my mouth as fast as possible! Good Luck!0

Stress is the hardest thing for me to deal with. Don't have time for dealing with dieting when too stressed is how I feel. Anyways there are other days to deal with it!0

Hey everyone,
Happy Friday! I overslept and missed my weigh in today. So my plan is weigh first thing tomorrow morning. I have had a great week (other than the cheese nips) so I am hoping for a loss on the scales.
I continue to feel so energized and can't even describe how well I am sleeping at night. It is amazing how this WOE really affects other things. I also have realized that carbs are a worse enemy than fat is for me. I am not sure the science behind it, maybe one of you more experienced folks can answer that. But if I have a meal at night heavier in carbs, the scale will always go up the next morning more than if I have something that is higher in fat.
Hope you all have a great weekend! And I will report my weigh in tomorrow!

I am uber sensitive to carbs, but I will always level out a couple days after a heavy carb meal. And lets face it, once I am done losing weight I will eat carbs, so I want to eat carbs now and know that my body will lose weight and still enjoy carbs.
Here is a great article on your carb vs. fat question

Sending positive vibes for tomorrow's weigh in! You got this!0

Thank you so much for this link, @sammygold2015 !0

@dkayingram - I've also noticed better sleep, so fully concur with you on that one. In fact, one of my motivations for this WOE was to put a stop to night eating, and the subsequent insomnia/gastric reflux. And it's working.0

Thanks for the article @sammygold2015 Awesome!!

Nice work! i hope this helps my sleep too!0

I'm looking forward to your weigh-in tomorrow.0

I think you will have a great weigh-in! Cheese Nips be damned!
@Fonar7 what an awesome NSV! I'm sure you feel so much better now.0 -
Thanks @brittdee88 , I can't believe how much OMAD has helped.0

Eating carbs causes glycogen storage. I've read for every gram of glycogen stored, you also store about 4-5 grams of water. That is why you gain a lot eating carbs. Most of it is water. If you go LC for a day you can also drop about 2-3 lbs due to not storing the water. Then if you eat carbs you will gain that water right back. It isn't fat loss or gain.
I gained a lot more energy, lost acid reflux at night, and slept way better after doing this woe also! There are a lot of benefits besides fat loss!0 -
Happy Monday guys! Hope you all had a great weekend.
Here are my results: 3-16 184.2
3-24 183.5 so a loss of .7 not the greatest ever but I have learned a lot and will continue. Still have hope to be at 180 by the end of the week! We will see.
Thanks @boblambo61 for the info. that makes a lot of sense!

Nice loss, girl! On a "normal" month, that's about how much I average per 10 days! You've got this! Are you doing anything special to try to get to 180 this week or going with the flow?0
-
I think I really need to focus more on what I am eating. It has been super easy and I haven't been strict, but I think I need to pay more attention. Not to the extent of counting calories I HATE THAT! But to the extent of being more careful with carbs etc.
I love me some carbs but I think I need to scale them back some, even with OMAD.
Hoping for 1800 -
Makes sense! Good luck!!!0
-
I think that will help a lot..Best wishes for much success0

180 here you come!0

Holy Moly Donna! I didn't realize you were in Tennessee. I am in Knoxville. We have an office in Nashville and I am there pretty frequently. (I could never OMAD in that town. Too much great food everywhere.) You are a champ! Gratz on your progress, and keep it up!!!0 -
@bandwidthbandit hahaha hello fellow Tennessean! I feel the same way about Knoxville especially when football season hits the tailgating that will be tough!!! Love big orange country!!!!
