We all see some beautiful sights on our various runs, walks, bikes, paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, horses, mastodons. Here’s a thread where we can share some of these special places.

This is the historic Acadian church and statue of Evangeline at Grand Pre National Park. It’s at the four mile mark on my daily walk.

This is the view from the cockpit of my kayak heading south down the main lake in Kejimkujic National Park.9 -
This is what my rowing river (Grand River in central lower Michigan) looks like in a photogenic moment. The tiny rower barely visible in the fog is not me, but a nice young man named Alex.

This is me doing Zumba on the front lawn.

He didn't find it... he built it himself... I am so jealous of his wicked woodworking skills!!

Thanks Mac. Build details and more boats at farback.ca

I'm super impressed. Farback is quite the master craftsman. Kudos, Sir!1

I'm speechless! That's amazing. It really is beautiful. It looks really long. How does it track? Great, I'm guessing. How long to build and did you go by a plan or pattern? (When I show this pic to my brother he may get the bug to build one!)0

Thanks very much. This one is my personal boat after making several for family members. One of these strip boats generally can be done in 150 hours or so, but I've got 300 hours into this one. Five different hardwoods, two types of cedar, carbon fiber cockpit and coamig rim, lots of extra touches. It's 17'6" long, ocean capable and tea is like a dream. This one is my own design using KayakFoundry software.

Put him in touch with me if he’s interested in building. There’s a community of builders on this forum
http://www.kayakforum.com/cgi-bin/Building/index.cgi
And that forum’s owner sells plans for a number of styles, great guy and very helpful.

Thanks for the links, farback. Brother is not retired yet, so that may be a lofty goal for him. I told him if he starts now, he couldd finish mine before Christmas?! It's fun to look at the plans and the different styles. Works of art!2

View from my pasture as I mow. 10 acres of mowing is a workout.

Look at that beautiful sky! (I sure hope it's a riding mower!) Ocala is beautiful, isn't it?
I wish I could figure how to upload pictures here.....(tech challenged.)
