Ththese challenges are slightly different t but I will switch over and do these. It’s always great to have supports and others to work with.the 20 pounds lost from Shingles really made my bat wings even flabbier. And the core always needs work. Both will help with Tennis. If everything goes well with the neurologist this week I will be playing my first match of the spring Saturday!

I am in! I did one of my KCM yesterday with DD. It was great. My left arm even let my do some dips. Every time I think it is back to normal I do something and realize it isn't!

Day 2 done. 20 second planks and arm workout using various weights from 5's to 15 pounds. Wrote it down to keep upping the burn! Thanks Chris. B) Summer is coming and I am with Kathy, the sag has to go!

I think I. Going to join you Shelly with more weights, right now I only have 3,5 & 8s. And I usually use the 5s. Brain scan today and report Friday during my neurologist visit. Feeling good and I’m in the lineup for Tennis Saturday. I’m going to do my best and enjoy playing with my team.

Kathy I would love you to lift heavier with me. Wait until after you get a clean bill of health. B)<3

I upped some of my weights. Stayed in the 5-15 pound range. The bent over rows had my left shoulder hurting. It was making popping and cracking sounds. I know that means it is getting better. Planning on raising the weights whenever I feel they are getting easy. I also do not rest much. I do a set of the curls then extensions. Then curls again. This way I can make better time by working two different muscle groups.

Kick some butt Kathy. Let me know how well you play.

Sending good thoughts your way, Kathy.

    Good job, Shelley.

Did some of these w/our trainer yesterday. Used 15's for curls...EGADS!! I can get to a minute done on a plank...barely. I keep working on it. Didn't walk yesterday. Got real hot here in Northern California :o yesterday so we took a Rest Day. :p

I'm not allowed to work out - not even walk. She said I could "mosey around the house or yard" but that's it. It's about all I'm capable of, but I'm feeling better every day. Check-up in a week.

Kathy - Good luck on your tennis match. You'll have to let us know how it felt!

Shell - Congratulations on working the weights! That so reminds me of you.

Chris - Thanks for keeping us inspired!

Hi guys, my vacation got cancelled but that was actually good as progress on my Library has been moving along. Should be open by May. Has been keeping me very busy. Think I’m going to work on both the challenges.

Chris I remember when we were doing over 5 minute planks! Persistent wins the plank. My planks are barely making it.

Paula you just rest. I will do your exercises. Get well my friend. And thanks, it does sound more like me again.

Clara seems like forever ago. Glad it will be done soon. Sorry about youw vacation plans.

Hit the weights again this evening. Keeping track and adjusting them as I can. Chris congratulations on them curls. :drinker:

Yesterday I slid some heavy boxes around and Derek came in to make sure I wasn't picking them up. I was mostly not picking them up - just pushing them... but I could feel it a little afterwards, oopsie.

thanks for doing my workout, Shelley. :blushing:

Planks - rest day. 30 minutes on my bike. Arms challenge completed using 3 lb weights. Hope to move up to 5s after doctor’s visit. My first tennis match today of the spring. I’m actually nervous almost like when I first stRted. Luckily I’m playing doubles with my bestie. She’ll keep me calm. I’ll report back later.

Yes today is a rest day for the planks. I also rested from weights yesterday since I was busy. Got up and hit the weights early. Paula I did yours, so step away from those boxes! <3 I did notice that the 1 armed tricep extensions caused my shoulder to scream at me. So might go back down a little in weight on that until I can stretch them up straighter.

Kathy wishing you lots of luck. <3

Clara you are definitely welcome to join us here with the challenges.

He loves it! It makes all kinds of noise going forward, backward, dumping...ALL KINDS! Everything goes inside that fits. On Wednesdays, he'll hear the trucks coming down the street before we do and he'll come get us to go outside. We waves at all the guys.

My team only won 1 of 5 matches. I didn’t win but it felt good to be back out there. We are in 4 th place out oh 8 teams. No challenges today I spent time with Ron. We did go for a walk.

Kathy glad you had a good time with your team. Wishing you all luck for next time. Glad you were able to get in a walk with Ron today.

Walked with Rocky and the kids. Then started teaching my granddaughter Kaeldra to ride her bike. She is deeply afraid of it. So I mostly just had her sit on it and work at balancing and steering. More later. Then we went to watch Ready Player One. Interesting movie. Then I repeated the same weights as last time. Shoulder was a bit better. And did my plank.

Went to the gym this morning. Did our challenge and a few others. It was a good morning. Might increase a few again. B) I did forget my plank though. Will have to double up too.

Busted my fanny yesterday with our trainer. It was fun working out w/DDD again. I miss those times, but summer break is coming!!

Got our carpets cleaned yesterday. The house was a mess...my brain was a mess with the mess. But everything is fine now. Got stuff put back in place and cleaned up a bunch. Now we have to get Bean a bath so he's all clean and pretty, too.

Walking w/DH in a few minutes.

Worked out last night. Both challenges. Tonight I was sore. And had to get some water changes done. So took a break.

Chris it sure feels great when you can get the place back into order. :)

DDD had a headache and was sore from Monday's workout so I met with our trainer yesterday and got my fanny kicked. I'll be okay in a week or so. :D

Muahaha, Poor Chris, fanny kicked! Love it.

Just finished another day of these two. Upped my rows and did a 45 second plank. Going to increase a couple more tomorrow. Doing better I am.

Am sitting on the sidelines watching you guys work your tails off. Waiting for my back to quit acting up and keeping the couch warm.

I love the sideline company Paula. You just stay there for as long as the healing process is working. Get well my friend.

I walked stairs today instead of strength training. My lower body needed a workout. I will complain tomorrow.
