So I took a suggestion I’d read on one of your articles @77tes. I slept in our bed, but when I woke early, I moved to another bedroom that is darker, quieter, snoring-free :), and cat-free.

I ended up sleeping another hour & 35 minutes!!!!!!

I didn’t record the extra; I guess I was too sleepy to do so LOL

So here is the data for most of my sleep last night:
Sleep Quality: 74% (not incl extra)!!
    In Bed: 6hr 38m (+1hr 35m) = 8hr 13m (a record for me!!)
    Asleep: 5 hr 50 min (+most of 1 hr 35) so probably 6hr 50 min or more - also a record I think
12/30/35/23 A/REM/Light/Deep (nor including extra) a record for REM!!
Note: I also went to sleep at the time my sleep app recommended!!

Average so far: 6hr 6m Sleep Quality: 65% (not including the extra)

I always said I would not sleep in a separate bed...

7 hours and 55 minutes. I'm trying to fight a cold, so I'm going to bed super early.

6 hours and 33 minutes. My dogs got me up in the middle of the night and my Fitbit gave me 2 sessions of sleep - one 3 hours and 9 minutes and one 3 hours and 24 minutes. I love my dogs, but sigh! :|

5 hours 55 minutes last night. My husband worked late last night and didn’t get home until 11:30. I will be going to bed earlier tonight.

    It is a process.

    In bed 6:54
    Asleep 6:00
    Sleep Quality 66%
    13/10/46/31 A/R/L/D

    Cat woke me. :(
Since I’d “slept” 7 hrs, I got up. Then lay in dark room another 90+ mins
    Still recovering from Mon night.

You are right, it’s a process.
I’m going to work towards 1) an earlier bedtime and 2) logging to MFP Challenges in AM, and 3) charging watch by 11 pm (as these might negate my need to remove cat from room or sleep away from DH.) Incentives for change now identified!!

    Thanks!

6 hours and 42 minutes - not bad since the AC could only get my bedroom down to 84.

Wow. I always admire the California weather when it’s January here in New England, but yikes...84 degrees. You did well indeed!

    1h 23m Awake
    1h 22m REM
    5h 53m Light
    1h 2m Deep

Not bad, but I stayed up too late and slept in too late. Saturday mornings I always end up sleeping later than I'd like!

Oh my goodness. I don't think I could have slept at all! I've gotten so spoiled with the A/C. xoxo

My 7 day average is 7 hrs 16 min per night.
Quality sleep average is 6 hrs 43 min per night.
Deep sleep average is 3 hrs 33 min per night.
The time I go to bed could use some improvement. On average this week I got in bed at 10:12 pm, which isn't great since I get up at 5.

    8h 29 min

    1h 4m Awake
    2h 53 REM
    4h 17m Light
    1h 19m Deep

Slept late because I was up late. I really need to change my habits to going to bed earlier and falling asleep quicker! It's okay on a weekend if I sleep in, but it's not an option during the week.

Goal tonight is to be in bed, unplugged, by 9pm and sleeping by 10:30 at the latest.
