Daily Strength challenge
"Challenge for September 03 is squats (no weight - air squat - http://www.12minuteathlete.com/how-to-do-a-proper-air-squat/).
You can do assisted squats (using a table or bench top to take weight off the knees if it is too much)."
3 sets- First set till the point where you can do no more, wait 2 mins
- Second set of 60% of the number you did in the first set (half, then another 10%), wait 2 mins
- Third set of 50% of the number you did in the first set (half)

Had a lot of people visiting us last week and taking us out for meals. I'm back onto it this week though and would like to lose 3 lbs this next week - the 2 lbs I've gained and another one!

Tomorrow is a new day. One day cannot undo the great results you have been working for. Drink plenty of water and give your body a day or two to rebound. I having pie tonight3 -
Thanks and you're right. I'm looking forward to tomorrow. I like how I feel when I'm not stuffed on junk. The only disappoint I have is I could have stopped sooner. Too many cookies.
I haven't had a day like this in quite awhile and now that I've had it I'm glad I won't be having another like this anytime soon. Back on track tomorrow and with some luck I'll still be down in weight come weigh in Thursday.5 -

Sounds like you've got the right mindset to succeed, @grebber1, and I'm glad you're continuing on this month. Regardless of whether today throws a wrench in your Thursday weigh-in, getting back on track means you'll get that loss sooner or later!

Son's birthday, and a long planned-for ice cream cake that he wanted to further decorate with every sugary creation known to humankind (he's 6). I ate well in the morning, exercised beforehand, had a moderate lunch with family (hamburger, no bun) and thoroughly enjoyed the cake and the company. Dinner this evening was more than I had intended, but I find that I usually eat less automatically the day after going over calories. Guess I'll be testing that tomorrow!
How many of you will be with me tomorrow, getting back on track after a little much today?4 -

@hayleymace90 I used to feel the same way. My mindset change was triggered by personal/family health news -- I realized I had to improve my health, fast. I wouldn't recommend the same method to anyone else, but it has been effective.
Do you have a couple of meals that you eat regularly? Same breakfast, same range of lunches, etc? Maybe you can start by adding those into MFP as meals, so that a couple times a day all you have to do is select the meal to track, rather than select the separate items.1 -
