Struggled today. 1 Mile with Leslie from Youtube and then another .5 miles outside since a cool front came through yesterday. All my rings have been met today.3

Well, I learned that even 1 mile of Leslie is too much on my 12 hour day! :laugh: I think I am going to have to settle or hall and classroom walking on Thursdays. The spirit is willing but the energy level is gone by the time I get home!

What @zichab wrote above is the exact reason that I posted about my recent birthday. This year for some reason or another I was finally very aware of how many years old I am. It might be that my older brother just recently turned 70 and that he is the first of my siblings to enter that decade, and obviously I am not that far behind him :laugh:. Thinking about it made me grateful for many things once again. Especially that we have the technology to "walk" together on this forum, which contributes much to our health and well being. I am blessed whenever I "walk" with each of you.

So I've been all over the place the last two days. I thought I was getting bored with the same old DVDs, so I mixed it up.

I did a You Tube Mix, but didn't realize some of these videos had a stretch at the end, so I had to walk thru those.
1 Mile Walk in Home + 1 Mile, Wake Up & Walk Week 4, 1 Mile Leslie, 1 Mile Nick, 1 Mile Wake Up & Walk Week 7, Miles 1 & 5 of 5 Really Big Miles
Saturday, Sept. 8:
8 Miles: 3 Fats & Fun Miles, 1 Mile Leslie, 1 Mile Nick, 3 Miles - Miles 1,2 and 5 of 5 Really Big

By the way, I can't wait for the DVD set to be released with the other girls leading the Walk 15! I love the energy of the Leslie and Nick miles. I want to see Nadyia, Kamilah and Rocky lead. Has anyone downloaded these?

AnnofB:laugh: I never thought of that, but you are right. She actually says that in the 4 Fast Miles video that I did today! My personal goal was 1 Leslie video per day even if it was only 1 mile, but even 1 mile was too much after 12 hours at school. Meh as long as I meet my goal, it's all good.
It's finally cooling off in MI, so I might even get to walk outside once or twice this week. Poor Endomondo thinks I have deserted him! My husband is still in NY so I am holding down the MI end by myself and I am amazed at how much more I have to do every day without him here. It is tough getting work outs in! If anything ever happens to him, I will have to rent a mate to keep up with my walking! :laugh:

I have always gravitated to WATP Five Mile Fat Burning walk even though I have many others of hers. Sadly, I have not been doing any walking for almost two years. It's so difficult now because of all the weight I'm carrying. Perhaps I should start with one mile and work my way up to two when I'm ready. Lucy3

Wow, a big start of the month for me. I've got some sort of workout every day but 2 so far this month. Now if only my eating habits were as good as that.2 -

@iheartcb Me too! That's one of my favorites ~ I just walked it yesterday. Start with 5 minutes, even if you can't do 1 mile. Leslie has some 5 minute walks on her YouTube channel. Any walking is good for you and there's no better time to start than right now. Good luck!

Oh my gosh that is a demanding walk to do if you have not been doing it for two years. Really, Veggie Girlis right, start with one mile and build back up to it. You will get there and the weight will come off, 1 mile at a time, so no worries. Do 1 mile and report it here and we will be your cheering section OK??? We have all been there Lucy! You are not alone!

I have always gravitated to WATP Five Mile Fat Burning walk even though I have many others of hers. Sadly, I have not been doing any walking for almost two years. It's so difficult now because of all the weight I'm carrying. Perhaps I should start with one mile and work my way up to two when I'm ready. Lucy
Hello Lucy. Starting with one mile is a good plan. One step at a time, one day at a time and before you know it, you'll be doing that 5 mile workout again. You CAN do it.0 -
