I am so very proud to be apart of this wonderful supportive group... Time and time again.... Whenever someone is in pain or just needs some support... This team jumps right in with supportive and loving word of encouragement ..... I have been the receiver of a couple times .... It did help me get through the day ..... Thank you to each and everyone of you for your kind hearts....
**** dear clp212 ... You are in my prayers ...
I have received the kindness from this group a few times. We are here for each other. To encourage, to listen, to give virtual {{{{{hugs}}}}} to generally be there with kindness and understanding. Thats what groups of like minded people do for each other. In a world gone mad, I am so grateful I have my friends here in the move challenge.0 -

I agree that this is the BEST group ever! I appreciate EVERY kind word, every prayer, all advice, any suggestion, all the laughs, the gorgeous & funny pictures, the words of sympathy, the words of encouragement AND the list goes on! YOU are the BEST!!!! & that is why after all these years I'm STILL here!!!
I ASK for prayers for my son! Today he admitted to NEEDING help with his drinking & also believes he is bi Polar. So Monday "momma bear" is going to get on the phone to get some appointments made. He even cried today & I haven't seen him cry in YEARS! God is GOOD & I believe he is in control here!
On a happy note. Our 5 yr old grandson (his 2nd out of 3) had a soccer game. He scored 5 goals for his team & 1 for the opposing team! LOL His team won 6-2.
Been MOVING but it hasn't been so much in miles (only have 7 to add )but cars are clean, houses are clean, leaves are raked & etc,,

@vhuber - My heart goes out to you, the trials of our offspring hurt so much. WoW, you were so lucky with that fall, Dean’s right! From previous posts, I get the impression you live in a rural community, with hospitals (and Emergency Care) some distance away. Elementary First Aid skills must be essential. Well done on being able to deal with it. Will there be cider or apple butter from those apples?
@clp212 - you too have my sympathy and support, for similar reasons. It is so hard to watch your children suffer. {{{{hugs}}}}. @clepant is wise in what she says (and always says it so well)0 -

SPREADSHEET UPDATED TO HERE

=============================
On a happy note, I just had the best time updating the spreadsheet and watching it turn gold! A big group hug to @tahm42 @Leanz @Just_Ceci @amazingmummy @rockann16 @belle_74 @sufferlandrian @grandmajackie @k80flec and me! Well done! Way to finish strong!
I ran in a really fun 10-miler today. Saw so many of my running buddies along the course and at the finish. I've collected quite a group of friends!
A funny story to brighten your day: When I ran the Paris marathon a couple of years ago I had a terrible race. It was hot and I was having a hard time. I noticed a guy wearing a NY Mets hat, told him I was from New York and started up a conversation. He talked me through the last 5 miles of that race. "Ok, let's just run to that blue car then we'll walk again." "Now let's run to that sign." I'm not sure I would have finished without him. Fast forward 6 months, I'm standing at mile 20 of the NY Marathon with a bowl of M&Ms. A very tired guy who looks like he's have a tough race stops for a handful and when he looks up at me I recognize him. Before I could place him he says, "Janet?" It was my Paris friend. Today I found him again at mile 2 and we recognized each other right away. Running can be a very small world.
See you all in October!6 -

That’s amazing @JTH11706 that your remembered the guy from the Paris marathon, not once but twice ... I can barely remember anything after any race I have ever done (which are few and far between these days!).
I did the Paris marathon too, 4 years ago! All I remember about it was having to walk down steps after the race to get the metro back to the hotel - it was agony ! I did remember that it was very warm that day too ... but after that nothing!!!!

Hi Dave and Janet I couldn't access my countycreek account today so I made a new.. workoutcreek. I will get my Sept counted and posted in the morn. Thank you!0 -
It was COLD (30"s) today with wind, rain & SNOW! An ugly dreary day so I napped after church & laid around in my lazy boy with the laptop. Made an apple pie with some of those apples I picked! It is yummy. It is baked in a cast iron skillet! My one lazy day for the week but I will go 100 again in October. See ya all in October!!!0

I am an alcoholic in recovery, 7 years as of July 27th. If you need anything I am here.0 -

@Janet - That's an amazing story! I'm lucky if I can remember what I ate for dinner last night. The odds of meeting and recognizing someone from the Paris Marathon are pretty slim. I'm impressed.0
