Commuted in to work tonight. Six hours of sleep felt delicious! I still feel like I could use some more. Let's start the month with 7 miles for 7 out of 250.

@cpanus - That was a COLD wind this morning. I put pants on for the first time this season to commute home. It must have been even colder where you are.

Adding 15 miles for 22 out of 250.

Adding 15 miles for 37 out of 250.

Adding 10 miles for 47 out of 250.

Adding 11 miles for 57 out of 250.

Adding 7 miles for 64 out of 250.

Adding 14 miles for 78 out of 250.

adding 10 miles for 88 out of 250.

Adding 17 miles for 105 out of 250.

Adding 19 miles for 124 out of 250.

@cpanus - I thought having time off was going to help you heal these problems. You're just not taking time off. You just switched what you're doing.
@anaconda469 - Sorry to hear about the reaction to the meds. Glad you're doing better now.

@CLEPANT - Been loving the U.P. of Michigan, Char, and the Mackinac Bridge was really fun to ride across! Such an amazing view. And several of the places after that have been gorgeous as well...Petosky, Charlevoix, and M119 was an amazing road with so many beautiful houses with a view of Lake Michigan!

    Dave, we need pictures.

Adding 1.1 miles. Forgot to set my alarm, looked at the clock and it was the time I'd be at the gym, almost made it a rest day, then decided to go. I ran a slow mile and did a lot of foam rolling and stretching. Glad I went, worked sucked so that kept it from this day being a total bust.

The Labor Day Mackinaw Bridge Walk is so cool. Five miles across. I have been on that bridge with a trailer and a boat and trailer when the winds were high and it is a real creepy experience. Glad you enjoyed my piece of paradise.

    18th: 4 miles, 3.8 m running, 1.2 m purposeful walking - MTD 118.5
    19th: 4 miles - MTD 122.5

@Dave - I looked up the Mackinac Bridge : WOW! I hope you’re having a truly awesome trip
@clepant - you have my heartfelt sympathy (and you @Leanz) - I see lots of rolling with a bottle of frozen water in your immediate future! Hopefully you won’t need to practice your tuck and roll too much for too long as well. Take care of yourself. <3
@anaconda469 - double ouch on those meds : the expense and the bad reaction.
@sufferlandrian - somebody who is the right fit and shares your passion will come along eventually, it’s just hard on those who have to fill the roster in the meantime.

Sept. 20: Adding 10miles. I got two 2 mile walks in today and my cancer pup was ecstatic to be back on the move. No issues till evening. Definitely some swelling again and I burned my leg while a sleep with my ice pack strapped on. Have a nice big blister. Also got 6 miles in on the x bike. So that makes goal. What a relief.
    TTD: 200 miles

@Leanz - Thank you. It's gotten much better. Being careful. Figured out what to do to my walking shoes to make things work.

@Dean - Can't just sit on my back side! The recumbent bike doesn't interest me anymore. Walking w/DH makes the time fly by! :)

    09/18 - 4.48 miles
    09/19 - 5.95 miles

@clepant - The thing about injuries is, you can rest them or they will reach the point where you will rest them. What about getting out on a regular bike? Indoor cycling drives me nuts as well. I had to subscribe to Zwift to help avoid the boredom. This is Montana. I can bike in the ice and snow. However, when you're at the inbetween phase, indoor cycling is all that's left.
