Dave - bwahahah! poor bike!
Dean - It was the first time this summer that we wore jackets at 4:30 a.m.
Also, Dave would you please lower my goal for this month to 75? I bruised my heel and have been instructed not to do my five miles for a while. I might start thinking about getting on the recumbent if it doesn't bother my heel. It's just sitting in the computer room acting as a big exercise ball holder anyway. ...poor bike!

@Chris:Take care of that bruised heel. Rest is hard to do but you sure don’t want to make it worse.
@vhuber: Your Challenge is beyond me. I am happy to get up and do 10 push ups each morning and my knees won’t tolerate too many squats.

@cpanus - That was a COLD wind this morning. I put pants on for the first time this season to commute home. It must have been even colder where you are.

Walked 5 this morning with neighbor friend. Had to wear our hoods up because it was 46* with a breeze! Hate to say it but I think fall is upon us & then its the four letter word I hate soooo much! Did get my ceiling & walls sanded. then I had to clean ALL the dust that was EVERYWHERE! tomorrow I prime!
35 lunges, 35 squats, 35 push ups & 35 sit ups. The lunges & the push ups are TOUGH!

After being up 1.5lbs after my vacation, I was excited to weigh in today and have lost 7.6lbs this week! Keeping the heat on. Not sure what my exercise is going to be today, but just as soon as this soup settles, I'm on it!
Dave
Fantastic news . Well done Dave1 -

Got my ceilings & some walls primed & painted! Will do another coat tomorrow. I also did my 30 day challenge at the end of the day. It was hard to do 36 full body push ups after having my arms over my head most of the day. My whole body was shaking at 33 but I made it to 36! Also did 36 lunges, 36 squats & 36 sit ups! No miles though, I will count today as my "rest" day!2

@Just_Ceci: I am sorry to hear about your accident but glad you did not break anything. Take it easy like the dr. Said.
Another flashing leaked on our house and I spent time up in the roof trying to seal it with som caulking. Hard to do in non stop rain.

Happy September. I hope you all are having a good week. We went with our son's family to the fair. Our grandson is 1-1/2 and was a riot to take to the to the animal exhibits, he identified them as a baa-oink or moo-oink or cheep-oink (sound is made complete with the scrunchy nose). It turned out that they were doing boar showings and he was super excited. His favorite animal is the pig so he was flailing about. It's too adorkable. He cried when we left the pig barn.
Have a fantastic week.
