Gained over Thanksgiving, as I didn't eat particularly well. Starting off today fresh with a good workout session! I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Exercise: Long walk in the neighborhood plus getting some chores done around the house. I'm thinking about getting Nordic walking poles to use when I walk. My lower back really starts hurting after about 20 minutes. In a past life I was a distance runner and I can feel my body getting used to exercising again....and I look forward to it.3 -

Good news: Wife checks my blood pressure and listens to my heart at least twice a day. She did not hear an irregular heart beat today.

@mexiconona Nothing to be sorry for and definitely not a failure. You only fail if you stop trying! You got this, just pick back up and start thinking about the future, not the past!1 -
Hi everyone I know it's been a minute since I post but I've been hanging with family but I'm proud to say that I have been tracking and staying under my calories even with e as ting keto friendly butter pecan ice cream not overdoing it as I only have 4 teaspoons at a time less than the serving amount so I stay under my carbs which I keep track with the Macros. I did make the butternut squash casserole which came out so delish and tonight I'm having mock mash potatoes with cauliflower.
I have one more day here in NC and I'll be back home in NYC Monday evening around 11pm so I'll jump on the scale then. I just pray to God that all my sacrifice paid off, I'll be so mad if I didn't lose any weight after I resisted sweet potatoes pies and my sister made 24 of them, cake, pizza and all the other high carbs foods although I did have 3 small helpings of regular mac and cheese my only cheat.
@gjaholy33 I LOVE this! You've been rocking it, I'm sure your weigh in will go perfectly!1 -
Wow you gave me some great ideas for desserts for Christmas Whip cream and berries. I also do not like stevia so I use Xylitol

@gjaholy33 I also don't like stevia, but I can't bring myself to use xylitol, I use erythritol. xylitol can kill your dog if you have one, just in case you didn't that. I don't have a dog, but I still can't bring myself to use it.1 -

Comments: Today is a classic day in St. Louis, had a severe storm producing a tornado near me, like 5 mins away, and now it's snowing with 20-30 mile an hour winds...so that's a thing and about 40 mins north of me, is getting a blizzard so, also a thing...got my workout in before all the weather so, that worked out...of course I wasn't expecting the storm, so that was a surprise. Anyways, tomorrow, I'm determined to eat better than I did today, I fasted most of the day and then got randomly hungry and ate a little more than I meant to, but still within my goal so I'll take it, but I'm determined to get back into it and on track and more in control than I have been this week.2 -

difficult with Thanksgiving. been focusing on maintaining my hydration to combat the increased sodium intake and staying withing my calorie budget. Had a few "off" days over yue holiday where I didnt "think" about what proportion of my dinner plate was veg/protien/grains, etc.
Didn't lose any numbers but I am happy with it.3 -
