    @heaz10, Well, I guess if you have to be stranded, Miami isn't all bad! Whenever you weigh-in this week will be fine!

    @prehistoricmoongoddess, you only put on 1.6 pounds while you were away from home for four days...that is not bad at all! It will fall off in no time, especially now that you are home and all relaxed from being away at a spa! Hope you had a wonderful time with your daughter!

    Thank you - but actually I only put 0.2lb on while I was away - the rest was before I went. However, I am now worried because despite having only having 1049 calories yesterday (out of 1200 allowed) and having earned 211 exercise calories, leaving me with 362 calories left that I could have had, I got up this morning to an increase of 1lb.

    for me personally, it takes a few days to a week to see the results/ consequences of my eating and exercise habits. If I go off the wagon, it doesn't show up on the scale for 3-7 days. The same thing happens when I am diligent with calories and exercise. I dont see the results right away. There is a bit of a lag. I can't explain it, and scientifically it shouldn't make sense, but that is just how my body works.

    So I guess I am saying the gain could still be from vacation. Hang in there for a few days and hard work will show.

    Back to where I started at the end of last month. It was a struggle, even though I knew what I needed to do. I didn't do too much crazy snacking but it was hard to do less than maintenance. I didn't have much time to exercise either. I am going to work harder next month.

    Decided not to do anything this evening after work. I started having a little foot pain, so I decided to take some tylenol and lay down earlier. Going to try loosening my shoes a bit more tomorrow, hopefully that helps a little!

    @brandi_84, consider February a learning month, then. You broke even, (so maintenance), and you know what you did to make that happen. So, by extension then, you know what you have to do to make the scales go down. Look out March...here she comes!

    Nice job on losing that pound last week!

    @cmhubbard92, I had that with the treadmill last spring. It was, indeed, due to having my shoes done up too tightly, and possibly too much of an incline too soon. It took a good month to go away....in the interim I switched to just walking outside. Since it was spring, I didn't really need to be on a treadmill. I hope the Tylenol and the rest helps.

    Results for February Week #3

    Well, team The Big Butt Theory had another very good week. We lost 18.4 pounds, which was good enough for second place, with a 0.33% loss (23.2 pounds and a 0.45% was for first place). Congratulations, Team!!

    Individually, we had our very own, @mickey10111, come in second overall with a loss of 2.60%!! That's what getting back to basics can do...am I right, Mikayla?!! Congratulations on an outstanding week!!

    The following Big Butts also had an exemplary week, losing over 1% of their body weight:
