Just 2kg/5 pounds to go! (the weight dropped again today, was unusually high yesterday for my weighin). I want it all gone by April when I have a holiday. I bought some extra small board shorts from the shops, so I'm pretty slim now in my lower half.2

I truly hate unexplained weight gain, when I can't figure out why. I know there are several factors that might come into play. However, I'm not deterred. Still determined. And still staying the course.

@BonnieHosk85 Staying the course is the best advice! This is a long term journey. I always think, wherever I am today is better than where I would be if I had never started. You'll keep making progress, I have no doubt.

I'm thinking of moving to a paper log of my food, and not strictly counting calories for a while. I'm having trouble motivating myself to use a device for non-work related things (new supervisor has meant feeling like I"m behind on everything, with new things coming my way all the time! That's why I've been away so much), and I think it's a hurdle to me tracking online. I generally know the composition of meals that allow me to lose weight, and so the challenge is really making that decision not to stuff other foods in my face. Maybe just keeping track on paper is enough if I'm preventing from eating the other "wasteful" foods.

I often don't log. As long as I only eat fruits as snacks, I'm fine0 -

@12Sarah2015, I do weigh and measure when possible. I ate restaurant food Thursday night (higher sodium), but I only ate 1/2 of my meal. I'm going to weigh in the morning and see if it's still up. I know weight fluctuates for different reasons so I'm trying not to stress about it.1 -
