    3/8/19 Mini Challenge
    Tracked: Yes
    Under: Yes
Exercise: 60 minutes elliptical and a bunch of walking

Had a really long day! Currently at a new personal best for my steps today.

Bought a new pair of pants, hoping they will fit nicely by my trip! They do fit, but are still snug! They do look nice, though! Something to look forward to, even if they don't fit for my vacation! I'm heading to bed shortly, though. If I plan properly I can make it to the gym half an hour earlier, and get my strength in, that I have seriously slacked on all week!

@cmhubbard92, a new pair of pants to fit into better....the motivator and the reward, all in one!! Great job at planning ahead for gym time!

@T34S3l, congratulations on your solid pound and a half loss, T!! But more important than the amount, is the direction that the needle on the scale is travelling!! Way to continue with your downward trend!!

I've been really tired starting this new job the last 2 weeks, I'm working shifts again and only able to do CICO, I've done no exercise so I'm going to work on incorporating that this week - half hour a day same as mini challenge - and aim for the 180's next week. 180 is an intermediate goal as I will have lost 100lbs so I'd like to see that (I have a list of rewards when I get there!)

@T34S3l, well, it just goes to show that as long as CICO is in play, exercise is not necessary to lose weight!! I don't think I realized, or maybe it's remembered, that you have been on this journey for a while now if 100 pounds lost is right around the corner for you!! Congratulations on your continued dedication to your health and to this process!!

I can’t get to a scale this week so I won’t be able to weigh in. You can use last week’s weight.

@jlbtnc, you were right to be looking forward to this weigh-in, because you knew you were going to be posting a loss!! Well done!! You have stated here that your previous weight was 215, but you posted a starting weight of 219.2 in the registration thread. Can you clear this up for me? Thanks.

@HASWLRS My mistake, yes was 219.2 when started. I was taking from when weighed self on 3/1 which was a drop in weight also. Oh well not able to fix, I have to be more careful.

@jlbtnc, it's not a problem at all; I just wanted to make sure we were all on the same page! Your registration weight is your starting weight for this challenge, so on paper you had an exceptionally good week!!

@HASWLRS Thanks, and will remember that for the next one.

I haven't been on top of my calories this week :no_mouth:

@womanofgod4893, well, maybe you haven't been on top of things this week, but the scales did go down a bit, as opposed to going up, so no harm done!! Let's aim for the 30's next week...that's only a 1.3 pound loss. Very manageable, don't you think?

We shall see! I'll be staying under my calories all this week so hopefully it'll show on the scale. Shark week is coming up so maybe I'll get lucky and it won't effect my numbers. Maybe?

    MINI CHALLENGE
    DATE: Saturday, March 9, 2019
    Logged food: Yes
    Under calories: No
Exercises: Yes - an hour walk around a ladybug festival. Kids released ladybugs throughout the gardens, super cute good times :)
    Steps as of posting: 10,553

So hard to make a healthy portion choice when you know you’re going to go over calories no matter what. Had 100 calories left for dinner due to high calorie snacking while out today. It was a struggle to not just eat whatever and stick to my healthy 400 calorie veggie heavy dinner. I did, so yay for overall healthy habits even if I didn’t reach my deficit goal today.
