I ended up feeling pretty good today. I only have a little muscle soreness so it actually feels pretty great.
I have two hours left of work, and will be driving an hour up to my boyfriend's house tonight. He is almost home from his 16hr drive back from Georgia and I can't wait to see him tonight! Tomorrow we will be going to trivia night, and I will get to spend a couple extra days with him as his vacation doesn't end until Monday 😊 very excited!4 -

Exercise: Yes - 20 minutes of trying to do the monkey bars. Kids make it look so darn easy! I got 4 consecutive rungs on my best try. Hands and back are sore. A new respect for the effort it takes to “play”

@Nicoletime4me, no problem! You know you can edit posts within an hour of posting? At least on the computer; don't know about the app. Only over by 300....not so bad!!0 -

I had a brutal physical day of work today. Basically remodeled a whole liquor store cooler. Took all the beer off the shelves. Took the shelves apart and rebuilt them. Put the beer back and moved all the storage beer around. 8 1/2 hours of this and didn’t get to sit once. I have no idea how to add this to MFP so I didn’t. And I still came in with over 400 calories to spare. Time for some sleep

@prehistoricmoongoddess, another pound and a half gone....you'll be "overweight" in no time!! Nicely done!!
Hi. I have a confession to make - I did my conversion from stones/pounds to pounds incorrectly. Can you amend my weight this week to 154.8.
The good news is that today my weight is 154.2, so I'm almost there.

Wednesday
I went to a yoga fusion class last night. I like how it makes yoga more of a workout. I hadn't ever been to that type of class, and I hadn't been to this yoga studio in almost two years. I had paid for ten classes almost two years ago and only used two! So I have eight still waiting for me. I ate at a deficit and logged my food, so another "yes" day for me!8 -

I am writing this to vent and with the hopes that throwing it here will help me start again. I can do well for a while but once I go off the wagon, I can't seem to get back on. I can go off by skipping a day of gym, or eating one oreo from the staff lounge, or having dinner with friends. And then that's it. I lose all motivation and can't get back into it. This week's eating has been terrible and I have only done basic exercise to count as my 20 minutes. I dread weighing in on Friday!
OK. That's it. Today is a new day. Right now is as good a time as ever to take the wheel of my wagon back.
I, and I’m sure most here, can say we have all been through these struggles. Let’s be honest, living a healthier lifestyle isn’t always easy and it often isn’t as “fun”. It’s hard work for a lot of us.
But the fact that you came here to vent about it shows you still care. You could have just disappeared from this group but you didn’t. You have fight left in you.
This group is incredible. When I lost motivation and was ready to walk away a month or so ago, most people here convinced me to keep going, even if my pace was slower. I’m hoping you do as well!

@brandi_84, it looks like your week got better as it went along! Spaghetti is one of those foods that is high in calories, even for a small serving.1 -
Really no idea what to expect on the scale tomorrow. Whether or not I made some better choices while away, I still was at an all-inclusive resort for 7 days. Then I came home and 2 days later jumped right into Intermittent Fasting and working out every day. On top of that I haven’t stepped on a scale in 2 weeks so I don’t know how the fluctuations have been.
I won’t be very surprised no matter what happens. And even if it is high, I won’t be that upset cause I did jump right into a good routine after vacation, and that is the real hard part.5 -

@erikNJ, it is so difficult to get out of vacation mode and back to losing weight mode, because we all know it is hard work, both physically and mentally. The fact that you did it right away speaks to your determination to get the weight off for good this time!! And no matter what the scale says, it will be your new starting point. It is all downhill from here!!4 -
