Thank you for reminding me of that. Today was hard to get downstairs and walk. It was cold and raining with ice still on the ground today. I did it but it's refreshing to see others insight.1 -
Great job everyone! Y'all seem really committed to goals this month and I enjoy reading what everyone is doing. When a workout or instructor is mentioned that I'm unfamiliar with, I've been looking them up. I like being introduced to new ways of exercise because I can get bored easily.
Last month I did a lot of solo walking and this month I've been trying to include at least one Leslie walking DVD per day and I can tell a big difference in my joints, especially my knees. I know my flexibility is better when I walk with Leslie, those knee lifts, kicks and kick backs are so good for the body.
No matter which workouts I try, I always come home to Walk at Home! For me, there is no comparison to the lovely Leslie, her positivity and upbeat personality. I will always be grateful I accidentally ran across her workouts online and for finding this great group of walkers!

22.72 Miles tracked last week, 10 of those miles were with Leslie's Spring Challenge.
This week the Spring Challenge has us doing 3 miles a day. Did mine with the Start Heart Walk on YouTube.
Now on to figuring out what's for dinner since I didn't plan anything, ooppss!2 -

Walk to the HIIT, this AM. Overall this isn't one of my top favorite videos, bouncing just isn't the best for chesty girls.

I had 8 minutes left yesterday and my DVD player broke. Thank goodness the machine still opened and the Leslie video was recovered. I did feel like falling to my knees and screaming in slow motion "nooooooooo" but I didn't (well in my head I did). Today a new machine was purchased and I got it working. I let the inner adio-visual goddess out today.4

Yes. It takes me about 2 weeks to get used to it. I don't know one person who says, "Yippee! It's the time change again!" Studies have been done that show there are more heart attacks at the beginning of the "Spring forward" part. That alone should be reason enough to just pick a time and stick with it. Sorry, didn't mean to rant. Just really dislike it, like soooo many others.

A note on the 2 mile Walk Away the Pounds that I did - it was from an old DVD I checked out from the library. I had to laugh at the set - it looked like a disjointed building supply store for mansions. Had a bunch of pillars not connected to anything, a floating triangle with a window, free standing windows on giant partitions... I was so confused about the set! It kept me entertained while I was walking! :laugh: I thought the old set with the plants and the separate little sitting areas was bad! Poor Leslie, she had some bad set designers in the past!2 -
