I still slept horribly last night though AND I didn't get to go to bed earlier like I wanted b/c our window unit wasn't working. Well, the fan part was, but the AC wasn't. Great.
BUT even though last night was the worst night of sleep ever (waking up multiple times per hour every dang hour)...
I'm not feeling as tired this morning. I'm sure it will probably hit me later today, but right now I feel ok thankfully.
NOT exercising today since sleep was so bad again. I'll do some hamstring stretches though. I'm reaching these damn toes eventually! lol
In some good news, my hubby has a whoosh! His weight has been fluctuating a good bit and he's been stuck at around 198+. Well he weighed in at 193 this morning!
So happy for him and he was so happy too.
AND he fit in to a size 36 pants that he hasn't been able to wear in years. AND they were actually loose.
He started out this whole journey with me and should've been going in to size 40 pants (but stubbornly kept wearing his 38's).
So so proud and happy for him.

Description/Photo of Meals: 1 80/20 hamburger patty, 4 boneless skinless marinated chicken thighs, aout 2-3tbs of kroger garlic parm wing sauce, swig of braggs ACV grape drink, 2 rows of lily's dark chocolate
Total calories: 1286
Your thoughts/comments on the day: Eyes are heavy, but don't have that completely exhausted feeling. Thank goodness. Also dinner was very satisfying. Was afraid I'd feel like I needed to eat more again today but I'm very full and satisfied with what I ate. It was a big *kitten* hamburger patty. Like just over 9oz. Same for the chicken too.
And just finishing it off with some chocolate. YUM.
Kroger had the Lily's chocolate on sale (2 for 6... still expensive) s decided to buy 2. A salted caramel and dark chocolate. I like the dark chocolate much better. Tastes more 'normal' than the other one did.
I dunno how I'm going to eat maintenance next week. That is going to be a boatload of food eating carnivore or keto. Maybe I could just aim for about 1600. I dunno. I'm sure it will be easier than I think.0 -
Why, why did you have to mention chocolate and caramel? Why?! LOL I may have to get me some for next week, it's one of my favorite combinations :-)

Lol, if you go for the Lily's and have never had it before... there is no actual caramel in it, it's just the flavor. I didn't really like it that much. It's not bad, just not the best, especially for how much it costs.

Sorry to hear about your sleep (hugs) Congrats to your hubby! Did someone mentioned chocolate and caramel? OMG, I love this combo and wish I have some chocolate caramel tart with sea salt....yummo!!!0

Good news everyone!
Sleep was much better last night! I did get to bed a little later than I wanted and got woken up by DH coming home late and packing for his trip, but I zonked out soon after and slept pretty well! Left the central AC on all night and it kept the room nice and cool which definitely helped.
Fighting the want to eat this morning. Definitely just mental and not true hunger.
DH won't be home so I can fix myself whatever I want for dinner tonight (well.. like I do most nights lol). Steak is sounding really good right now. Might make some whipped berry cream too for a dessert.. or make myself a keto mug cake. Been craving it, but it's a lot of calories.0 -

I add another tbs of monk fruit and I microwave for only about 50sec in my microwave to keep it a little gooey. I also like making this one with 2 scoops of PB powder instead of the cocoa. You have to microwave for the full 60sec usually since the PB doesn't suck up the moisture like cocoa does. I also don't bother with the whipped cream or anything.0 -

Yeah, it's definitely a lot of calories lol. You could make the batter and only cook up half of it and save the other half for another time.
And in gross news.... I was feeling hungry... but my 2yo toddler decided he wanted to go use the potty. Awesome right? Yeah except that he had messy poop in his pullup and got it ALL OVER THE PLACE.
Oh look.... hunger has suddenly disappeared. Thanks so much baby boy......
This cold needs to go away already! Coughing has gotten a LITTLE better sometimes. I'm not coughing every second at least, but when I do cough, it's violent and makes it feel like my head is in a vice. Stay sick long enough for my kids to get sick again and pass it along to me. SIGH!0 -

I like to mix my batter up and then bake it in a mini muffin pan. I can have 8 mini muffins/cakes and can eat two and be satisfied and save the rest for another time.1

Your thoughts/comments on the day: I was very close to breaking my fast early today. Coughing was making my head hurt and I have no idea what that has to do with breaking my fast, but there ya go :P lol
Thankfully my 2yos gross poop incident quickly got rid of the thought of food. Yuck....
The whipped cream dessert was ok. Not enough berries in it to give it any berry flavor. Boo. Did give it that great texture from the seeds though.
I probably would've been more satisfied with a mug cake, but oh well. Can save that for another day Maybe next week when I'm doing maintenance I can make mug cakes. Lord knows those will give me plenty of calories.
Anywho... hoping for another good night of sleep tonight!1 -

And once again sleep was terrible last night.
No hubby so I'll just let my kids sleep with me. Yay! Yeah... yay for them!
HOW can a 4yo and 6yo take up so much dang room? All night long I was pushing my 6yo off of me and worrying that the 4yo was going to roll off b/c he was moving so much.
Plus I get a bit more paranoid when hubs isn't home b/c I'm afraid I won't wake up in time (my internal clock as always woken me up in time) and afraid that some psycho is going to break in.
SIGH!
Sleep has always been an issue for me. I'll get some good weeks where I'll sleep well, but most of the time, I struggle.
I take melatonin to help me get to sleep, which does work extremely well for me, it's just staying asleep that's my problem.
ANYWHO!
I finally got to weigh in this morning and!.......

Absolutely no weight loss. Actually UP from the lowest I've seen. The hell???
Stupid frickin scale!
I also took measurements and thankfully most of those are down from the last time I took them. But still.... the hell scale??!?!
I am usually up a little in the mornings, but still... I had a feeling this would happen, or that I'd be up and here we are. Grrrr.
Not sure what else I can do to get things going again. Still going to do a maintenance week and then.. I don't know. Try my best to get better sleep b/c I'm sure that hasn't been helping anything lately.
Also next week, since my calories will be up, I'm going to work out harder. I've been doing nothing to bare minimum and I really need to do better with my fitness. Stop being lazy and start building up some muscle!0 -

1. Rock on with your maintenence and working out week... Kudos to you bc I probs really need to do those like once a month at this point but I'm supa' lazy
2. Yay for measurements! The scale it a fickle bit** so take it for what it is... You're Obv still making good progress
3. Have you tried medical marijuana to help you sleep? I don't remember where you're at to know if it's legal there but it really helps and if you get the dosage right, you won't be so out that you'll miss if the babies wake up or anything... Feel free to dm me if you have questions...im a vet on the subject1 -

I'm unfortunately in the bible belt. South Carolina to be exact so not even medical MJ is legal here. 99% of the population here wants it legalized completely or even just for medical use, but oh no no.... It's a gateway drug! It's dangerous! THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!! /eyeroll
I don't know why the crooked politicians here are so against it since legalizing it would bring in a TON of money to line their pockets.
But anywho.... no weed unfortunately. Not sure I would smoke it if legal anyway, although I'm sure it would help.

I think I'm going to have to break my fast early. Feeling.... off. Not hungry, but just... I dunno... off. Like I can feel myself getting sick? Or like a slight dizziness weird warm feeling. Could be from the lack of sleep, but I dunno, this feels different from exhaustion. After I pick up daughter, will break fast with a cup of bone broth and see how I feel after.

Yessssssss listen to your bodyyyyy!!! Also just FYI my preferred consumption of the mmj if it's for sleep is medibles... No smell for the babies and your liver converts the active stuff from thc delta 7 to thc delta 11 which helps the sleep and pain centers of your brain (I'm going off memory so I'm sorry if those delta numbers are off slightly lol)... Anyway the long and short of it is, if you can find some try it... PS the endorphins help make fasting much easier for me too1

Your thoughts/comments on the day: Eating earlier than usual helped with the off feeling I was having. And then I wanted to eat everything!! I ate like all of the ice cream I made.. even though it wasn't that good lol. I could've eaten A LOT more too, but stopped myself before I ended up at like 5k calories.
Going to have another No limit calorie day tomorrow and then maybe a bone broth day on Sunday, MAYBE Monday too and then kick off maintenance on Tuesday until Saturday. I dunno. If I do end up doing that, I'll have to make more bone broth. Not a big deal.. just an extra trip to the store.0
