Still eating Keto and really loving it. Joined a Keto group where the leader of the group has lost 100 lbs doing Keto and really helps you understand how to eat and track you macros. It is so easy once you know what you're doing. It is my new way of eating (WOE). I have lost 11 pounds so far jut since Feb 7th.

    Awesome keep it up 💪🏽👌🏾👍🏾

Oomph, sorry guys. I think a lot of it is not getting a lot of water/eating a lot of salty foods over the last few days, but I didn't concentrate on eating right. Back to the grind - this will be lower next week!

MOTIVATIONAL TIP: POWER OF GREEN TEA

"Green tea contains bioactive substances like caffeine and EGCG, which can have powerful effects on metabolism.

Compounds in green tea increase levels of hormones that tell fat cells to break down fat. This releases fat into the bloodstream and makes it available as energy" Retrieved from articles https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/green-tea-and-weight-loss#how-it-

As you know I've been drinking my tea after 5pm and it has helped tremendously with my cravings. I no longer have powerful thoughts of cookies, cakes or ordering fast food late at night.

Remember this is just a suggestion we all have to walk our own pathways on this journey.

Have a blessed and productive day! 🌞😃

I might try drinking green tea in the evening. I'm pretty sure I have a box of it. I usually don't like tea unless it's really sweet but I have some of that Swerve sweetener. It's worth a try.

My doctor also prescribed a low dose of Topamax for me to help with cravings. I'm not sure if it does anything or not. I still have cravings but I refuse to give in to them.

YES!! When I started my weight loss---I only drank Green Tea and water. Now I have coffee and sugarless soda too.... but I'm trying to incorporate more tea into my day for this reason--- Gloria, you are so right, tea helps with cravings. Peppermint tea especially, is known to curb the appetite. I've been getting Trader Joe's Moroccan Mint Green Tea--hoping that's a double whammy👌🏻😆🍵☕️

🗣Comments/Goals: Running on very little sleep and so today's workouts were extremely hard to get through--- and my fasting day was difficult to accomplish (more than usual). Sleep is so important---let's hope my bladder (no more water after 9pm!), my snoring hubz and the wicked wind of the northeast doesn't keep me up all night (was up and going at 4am today😫😖).

🤗HAPPY TUESDAY ALL--- keep up the 💪🏻greatness-- so proud of this team❤️!

Oh I hear this--- I have a 14 and a 16--- and I to stress/emotional eat. It is so hard to watch our child(ren) struggle with anything🥺--- and not having control over it makes you want to eat, I know that feeling all to well.

I hope he/she feels better and can find a solution to calm that anxiety. Teen years are so tough on all of us!😣😔

    Good morning team 🤗

I was just thinking about my mini goal for this month which was to lose 7lbs. I’ve lost 6lbs so far this month and I feel like moving the goal posts a bit. My new mini goal is to have lost at least 10lbs by the end of April. I like to challenge myself and if I just keep doing what I’m doing, I know it’s attainable 💪 Let’s see if I can shift these 4lbs in 13 days 😊

    Exercise: 13,800 steps

I got about 11,000 steps in at work today. I then did a 21 minute cardio workout on the treadmill with the ifit personal trainer. It was a tough workout........I was yelling at the app to slow down. :) The treadmill was inclined at times and got up to 2.8 mph. My heart rate was up to 146 at times. I'm proud of myself for just finishing. It was the 1st workout in a series but I'm not going to progress to the next one until I can handle this one better.

    Awesome

I put in my weigh-in yesterday, but I keep hitting 'done' instead of post. So frustrating. So here is take 2!

Tough week. TOM had some to do with it, but so did sugar intake. I can not eat sugar, it cause almost immediate inflammation and weight gain. But it is so hard to resist! If I stop for a couple weeks, I can stay away from it for months, then one dessert at a special occasion sends me into a sugar spiral again.

I am headed out to camp in the woods this morning. We have our meals carefully planned, so I should be able to stick to the game plan.

It will break my streak though, I hate doing that, but turning off electronics for a few days is much healthier for my mental state.

    Have fun

Love it keeps encouraging you every 2hrs.

NSV so this may be T.M.I. but notice my thighs are no longer tight but they're that loose squishy fat tissue now. I hold most of my fat around my thighs and hips so I see this as a good thing.

On another note disappointed cause I check the scale and I barely loss a pound this week. The good news I didn't gain so very happy about that but I'm trying to lose an average of 8-10lbs a week so I won't have BARIATRIC surgery. I know, I know I'm rushing it but I can't slow down until I get these doctors off my back but I'm hoping to push the surgery to August to give myself time to lose 100lbs. Hopefully I can convince them to hold off as I really do not want this surgery cause the side affects are sooooo not worth it.

I know my issue is I'm not eating enough as my cal averages 800-900 instead of 1200 but I don't want to mess up a good thing and eat empty calories just to get my numbers. Also I cannot eat as much as I use to, I get full real easy; which is a good thing. STILL WORKING IT OUT BUT STAYING POSITIVE THROUGH IT ALL. . .TOMORROW'S ANOTHER DAY
    Gloria you are just amazing!!!!!

@vicky2767 Every month I’m getting a little more tuned into my TOM symptoms. Really noticed this time the cravings surface and the need to want to eat all the time. Found myself standing in the kitchen looking for stuff that’s not there only to walk myself back out empty handed.

I’ve never really paid attention to my body before ( or I probably wouldn’t need to lose weight!) It sure tells you a lot if you listen!

Here’s to willpower and dedication during our TOMs!!
