Mini Challenge! Question of the week????....sometimes I remember to do these
What makes this time of losing weight different from the others? This is an assumptive question, so if this is your first time trying to lose weight then I guess the question would be: What are you going to do to make sure that you're successful the first time when so many other people fail time and time again? (Sorry these aren't very well worded questions and I'm running out of new question ideas) I think that I will start expanding on old questions for the next couple of rounds.
@WA_Teacher needs to grade my paper and make corrections I'm so tired and can't proofread right now.3 -
What makes this time of losing weight different from the others? I've only really tried to lose weight twice in my life and I was very successful the 1st time on MFP (I lost 60+ lbs). What makes this time different is that I made sure to have friends and participate in challenges. The 1st time, I got a very small group of friends that quickly dropped out and I didn't replenish any of my friends list. I made sure to have a lot of people that will drag me back kicking and screaming this time!4

Comments: Long, long, loooong day. I'm glad I was able to stay on plan, but honestly I just want to chow down on some Ben & Jerry's and take a long, hot bath. Hopefully tomorrow's a bit less stressful!3 -

Doing an April Abs challenge at my kickboxing studio. Giving up alcohol, all processed foods and incorporating weightlifting into my routine twice a week. Along with going to the studio 3x a week- and a tailored ab routine 2x a day.
Can’t wait to see the results!6 -

What makes this time of losing weight different from the others?
That I'm trying to make a lifestyle change. That I'm doing it without starving/stressing myself. And that I'm doing this for better health and not to stop people from saying nasty stuff about my appearance. Also this is the first time I'm doing this with a group, which has proven so much better for my mental health.
And lastly, I learnt a lot more about my body and metabolism, which gives a sense of confidence - especially in the face of a lot of contradictory advice and information on this stuff these days.5 -

What makes this time of losing weight different from the others?
I'm doing it properly. Theres no cutting calories, no obsessive exercising, no making myself sick, no binge eating and no quick fixes. I'm doing it slow and steady and learning new healthier habbits.7 -

What makes this time of losing weight different from the others?
1. I'm consistently tracking and planning my food daily. I've done it for over 200 days.
2. I'm accountable to the Flab-U-Less Team. I've never participated in a weight loss competition before.
3. I'm satisfied with losing slowly but surely.
4. I'm using the ketosis diet
5. I'm happy to be in this with all of you!5 -

What makes this time different? This group is what makes it different for me. This is my first time in a weight loss group and I'm hoping that this will give me the motivation/accountability that I need.

What makes this time of losing weight different from the others?
1. I'm trying to take the emotional investment out of it. My self-worth isn't decided by my weight and I want to embrace positive change in my life.
2. The life I want to live is hard at this weight. I'm a very active person and want to do a lot of active things. As I'm getting heavier, that lifestyle is harder to keep up.
3. I'm not doing this alone. Before, it wasn't a big deal to me if I slipped on my diet, because it only affected me and I could justify an extra treat. Now that I'm here with all of you, I'm staying accountable because I don't want to let anyone down, including myself.
There's a lot of other reasons as well, but those are definitely the top ones

Sadness, it is all water. I've been over on sodium for the past 3 days. Sorry team.5 -
What are you going to do to make sure that you're successful the first time when so many other people fail time and time again?
1. Analyzed the numbers (calories/ideal weight/bmi/bmr)
2. Got a physical with blood work
3. Had a stress test (lol first time using a treadmill)
4. Got a fitbit and a treadmill
5. Joined MFP
6. Daily tracking of food to define caloric limit
7. Exercising or calorie burn to meet the deficit decided on
8. I eat a balanced diet as indicated by the macros on mfp
I am in week 11 of my 15 week adventure with a loss of 14#
Still hoping the diligence pays off -stay tuned4
