โ Exercise: I done 20 mins on my exercise bike. I was sweating like a mad woman and my heart was racing ๐ I only use the bike a few times a week if Iโm lucky and Iโm amazed at how much my thighs and bottom have toned up ๐ฏ I think ill start doing sit-ups to try and fix this belly - thatโs my only problem area right now and Iโm not sure how else I can sort it โน๏ธ4 -

๐๐ No--- I'm not on FB--- but it sounds dangerous. I'll stick to this.1 -
So I fell off the logging wagon this weekend. And I also went by the whole "if I didn't log it, it has no calories" rule.
Unfortunately, the scale didn't know about that rule.....
So this week I am trying to rein in the "stuffing of food into face" and actually log all my food.... (but not sure about Wednesday -date night- should be tricky).
Anyway...... I'm working on it!!! Gotta stay in the 140s! Something I was NOT successful at over the weekend.....4 -

So I fell off the logging wagon this weekend. And I also went by the whole "if I didn't log it, it has no calories" rule.

But you are here now! ๐ weekends are sooooo tricky and like you I find it easy to claim ignorance if I'm not tracking! Thankfully that's easily solvable by just getting back into the habit of logging everything ๐you can do it!! ๐ฅ

Exercise: Still not there on the regular
Comments: Well I did something a little bit different this weekend. I went away for a friend's birthday party, and instead of telling myself "you'll be eating out all weekend and wont be able to control it so don't worry and just get back on track when you come home". I used to think that was the kind thing to say to myself, but in truth all that ever did was give me permission to overeat and not even attempt to plan or track or otherwise be held responsible for my eating and drinking! So I continued to track ever morsel and sip of wine that passed my lips, I weighed up whether a lighter lunch would be better bc I would want a small drink in the evening. I looked at menus and made conscious decisions about what I was going to eat. I even...GASP!...left the second slice of my sourdough sandwich on the side bc I didn't think I needed the whole thing. Guys, I never ever do this normally. And you know, I was comfortably satisfied instead of over full. And now, sitting here back at home on Sunday evening, I am soooooo glad I kept myself in check. Because I know I'll wake up tomorrow for my second week weigh in having lost weight, even over a party weekend. ๐ I'm proud of myself, y'all...
I'm proud of you as well is the those conscious decisions that we make that makes a huge difference in our bodies mind and soul even if the scale doesn't show it this what I call a NON-SCALE VICTORY ๐๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐๐พ๐1 -

Comment: weigh in tomorrow. Realise any loss will be water weight as I start this journey but I'm enjoying being part of this team, keeping my logging honest and being accountable. The biscuit tin is gathering dust and the house is getting tidied as I steer away from the kitchen.

Ugh. I know it's a loss but...I deserve more than that! I'm feeling so frustrated. Whenever I've been over my daily allowance it's been so slight, like maximum of 100kcal because I was away and needed a little extra. But nothing crazy and I worked SO hard. It makes me feel that either I'm wildly inaccurate with how I'm logging (but I mean I would have to be awfully wrong most of the time and that's just not true bc bar the weekend I have been able to weigh and measure everything)...or my body has just been stuck this week. I'm trying to remember the "whoosh" that @AB0215 talks about so i don't pull my hair out, and I know a loss is still a loss..but you get it right? It feels so unfair. ๐ฉ
But I can't let this derail me today. I need to just carry on and ignore it โค๏ธ

So although today was very rainy and cloudy here in NYC and traffic was horrendous I was able to go to my psychiatrist appt and he's putting me on three different medications I am hoping it will stop my anxiety enough so I can go to sleep on time and not up to 2am on most nights. We got stuck in 2 hour traffic but I had my low carb protein fat burning muffins for my snack which is much better than the granola protein bars you buy. (Although realize forgot the applesauce they still taste good and moist) It felt good to make my muffins yesterday. ๐๐

Track yes - out for dinner and tried a vegetarian dish that consisted of butternut squash, peppers, onions, spinach served in a bread bun. Guesstimated it at 700 but since I left most of it as it was too spicy/peppery for me, I donโt think it will impact on my totals!

Exercise yes 10,000 steps including 75 minutes of Tai Chi.
Comment. Mild panic when I realised I was 200 short of my 10k daily steps - I like this new habit even if I have to dance round the house to do the last few hundred (raining outside)
Also, discovered banana and strawberry oat so simple - yummy and good to reduce my cholesterol (I hope)2 -

People get so weird about eating normal food. Someone said they want a hamburger and like people said "don't do it" "drink water instead"

@CindyJNC1963 Nice day! Awesome steps! Also nice loss! You're still losing, even if it's a bit slower, that's actually pretty normal. Although, I also don't disagree with revisiting your calorie goal, eventually you do have to adjust it as you just need less food to maintain (and lose) weight. That's also normal, so good job recognizing that there may be a need for change.
