I’m nervous about my weighin. Even though I have pretty much stayed on track I feel anxious about the scale. I’m sooo tempted to weigh this morning. I just want to make sure I’m still tracking a 1 pound loss for the week. That’s my goal. I’m still finding my way. Saturday I was so distracted by my tote of goodies. It was hard not to think about them. Same thing happens when I pack a good lunch.
I will not weigh...but I want to.
Update on my sister. Situation is getting worse. I spoke to her yesterday and encouraged her to come for a visit ASAP. She said it’s not a convenient time for her since she is trying to sell her house. I told her to consider her safety over money. I called my brother. He asked for her address and is notifying police department. Thanks again for prayers and support.

I don't have too much time to write. We are having the house power washed and all the windows cleaned. The windows are pretty expensive (I think) but I didn't have time to do them this year. Next year I will just have the high ones I can't reach done. I cleaned all the blinds and brought cushions and small pieces of furniture into the house yesterday. I hope that was all I needed to do. I also took a short walk with Daisy and rode my bike. It was a nice day. I am having issues with over eating again. I need to focus on eating until satisfied. I really think this is key. Now I do remember but still continue to eat. I have the same old thoughts that I need to get out of my head. I think I will be hungry later, I think I won't be satisfied at the end of the meal. I split leftovers for lunch and dinner yesterday. I was so worried I would be hungry I made a huge salad AND ate yogurt although I wasn't hungry. I am going to really work on that this week. I do have to stay home with Daisy while the work is getting done but after I am heading to the store to get frozen dinners so my portions are controlled. I am just getting what I need to get through the week. I am going to have my wrap sandwich for lunch and my hardboiled egg and turkey sausage and yogurt for breakfast. I am going to plan snacks in too. I need to right now. Exercise may be difficult, we are supposed to have a rainy week. I will figure it out though. My eating is really the problem here. Got to run! @Mrsbell8well Old thinking always seems to creep back in. None of us are perfect. You are doing fantastic more than you aren't. I know it is hard but you are probably at the point that you don't need to worry about the scale. There are so many things that go into that number. Look how your clothes are fitting, they get baggy not long after you buy them! That is a much better indicator of how you are doing! Hugs girl! Have a great week! And thank you! I love this team, that makes it enjoyable to do and not a chore!

@Mrsbell8well I've found that weighing more often helps keep me on track and more accountable than if I only weigh once a week. Plus, I feel more in control. So if you're curious, don't fight it.

Weekend Check In:
Overall the weekend went very well. Lots of gardening on Saturday and hiking on Sunday. Food was good too!!
Today's plan is almost finalized...I'm still deciding on supper. I did pull out hot dog (all natural ones) for dinner tonight since I won't have much time to cook...getting my hair cut after work. So I may just have to go with a potato, veggie, cut up hot dog dish. It will be yummy though
I heard something from PNP from last Saturday and had to share it. When you have an urge to crave stop before you react and just count down from 90. She says that the cortisol your body releases which drives the craving only lasts 90 seconds. We'll see...time for a new experiment!

I am in the home stretch with my work deadline. I will be done this evening, so hurray! I will have a week of administrative stuff to do after this, but that is not nearly as intensive. I can get back to more focus on myself now. The Raptors victory parade is underway. The schools in our neighbourhood had mini-parades with the students parading around in Raptors gear and cheering. It was loud, but super cute! Here are some photos from my husband, who is at work downtown. This is just one major street, and they are all jammed packed like this one.

Hi everyone! I haven’t been checking in here as much as I would like, but my eating is going really well. I’m committed to making this a great month - my "no excuses" mentality for this month seems to be keeping me on track. Yesterday was harder than usual since we had pizza and cake for Father’s Day. But I limited myself to 2 slices of pizza and 1 serving of cake during the day. A long family walk outside in the evening helped with the steps and extra calories.
This week I need to work on getting my water back up to 64oz a day and find time for more exercise. My schedule has been all over the place since school got out and exercise has mainly been walks with the kids. I would like to add in some yoga, strength, or more strenuous exercise again.

Hey guys, I'm at a serious loss of what to do here. My YMCA closed and the only other option for a gym membership in my town (and also the town I work in has one) is Anytime Fitness. I just hate how ridiculous their contracts are! Sometimes I just get a membership for the summer then cancel in the fall/winter/spring because it's not cost effective!
Do I bite the bullet and get the membership anyway? I am a "gym person" more than a "workout at home person" but they have like a minimum 12 month contract... 18 months if you want to get any savings at all4 -

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Been feeling good. I was happy with my weigh-loss on Saturday. I was really good with my food & exercise and Saturday and yesterday I got a workout done, ate well all day, did laundry and cleaned the house. We went to my in-laws for dinner last night for Father's Day. My MIL made arroz con pollo and pasta salad. I had some of both. The kids went to Dairy Queen for ice cream after dinner, they picked it up for everyone, so I got a small cup of vanilla soft serve with the chocolate dip on top. It was really good. The scale was up a little this morning, but I am fine with it. I am back on track today. Going to do my workout when I get home.
A little over 5 weeks until Vegas. My goal is to be around 150 by then. I will happy if I can get to 153 or under. If I really set my mind to it, I can do it!
@Cafelelia that parade looks crazy! Lots of fun and so exciting! I have a meeting at my son's school tomorrow morning. I am hoping they let him stay or I may have to do online school with him.
@Mrsbell8well my prayers are with your sister! I hope everything is ok! Hopefully your brother is able to help. That is a scary situation.

@DananaNanas I belong to Planet Fitness. It is only $10/month. The don't offer classes, but they have cardio & weight machines.

Happy Monday everyone. I’ve really been fighting my cravings for my “nuts” again. I guess that’s growth since I used to crave junk food, but I have not been able to eat a single portion of my nuts. I literally go nuts!! It’s an all or nothing thing!!5
