Hmmm. Wishing I could weigh in today while the scale gods are smiling! Now to make it last til Thursday!
Unfortunately, the appliance gods have not been smiling. Fridge needed new evaporator coils, AC needs new furnace, washing machine is lying in pieces in the laundry room complaining of general malaise and internal miscommunications. I figure before buying a new one, I can at least poke around the old one and thoroughly fry all the electronics.

No fireworks issue for my dogs, the German Shepherd doesn't seem to care and Nuke is too weak from hunger to react. A long weekend off, no real plans other than further pina colada recipe testing poolside. Not very green but oh so good.3 -
4th of July plans
Heading to my dad's to watch fireworks over the bay here in NJ. We will see about 8 different displays going off. We can see the Borgata's in Atlantic City in the distance. Lot's of good food on the menu. bsgraham10 has a 35 day aged filet mignon to throw on the grill. (insert drool)
If I was closer @mulecanter I would help sample those coladas for perfection.3 -

Sorry, I have been busy with the Canada Day long weekend. I'm up to date now.
I spent a whole day with my dad. He's trying out a new wheelchair. It's an electrical wheelchair that folds up like a stroller. It's light weight and I can put it in my Van without closing it. We went down the street to Tim Horton's and to the Bingo hall. It was nice that I didn't have to push him around all day.
Then I spent a whole day doing Canada Day activities, a BBQ, fireworks etc. It was really hot, made me super tired and run down, but today is raining. This week is supposed to be overcast and not to warm.
Please do not add me to the step Challenge for July but I can be in for Aug.
I will be back on the 4th of Aug. I will try to log in before that if possible.
I won't be joining the Green Challenge either as I will be gone for most of the second half of July. I'm going on three different camping trips. I'm going to work on my meal planning in advance to make sure I don't gain a lot of weight while I am sitting around doing nothing. I can't wait. I can do some reading for a change. That is the only time I get to read. I'll do a little bit of walking but I'm going with lazy people so not a lot of exercise will be done. Maybe I can do it on my own. No wifi where I am going so no contact with social media. Maybe I'll print some of the exercises out and do my exercises that way. No excuses right. :-)5 -

Just saying....today would be another good day for me to weigh in. Hopefully I will feel the same tomorrow, when I actually weigh in!
Wins yesterday: only a small bite of real brownie followed by a strictly mediocre attempt at a low carb, low cal, microwaved brownie in a mug. All I can say is that is was filling and didn't really have anything bad for me in it. It satisfied a psychological chocolate & treat need and my need to experiment with mug cakes. And as my kids would point out, it's a good diet food because you really wouldn't want to eat it ever again??!!??!🤣🤣🤣4 -
