Good Morning and Happy Tuesday. Working both jobs lately has been draining me but I am sure the paycheck next week will help.
I am working both jobs all week, so that's 13 hour days, plus getting in my miles for training. I still have to get 2 in today. Either at lunch or after work tonight. I will NOT deviate from the plan.
I just finished up my eggs, sausage and hot sauce with 1 cup of coffee.
Onto getting in the water now.5 -

Hello! I am so excited to be back this month. There are some new people who I haven’t met yet, so I will introduce myself.
Name: Megan
Age: 26
Height: 5’2”
Location: Wisconsin
Weight loss goals: I have always been “overweight” or at the very top of my healthy weight range. I want to get to 125, and be a healthy, sexy hot weight!
August goal: 133 lbs by the end of the month.
Things I like: Horses, dogs, cats (okay so basically all animals), yard games, board games, reading, bubble baths, coffee, sleeping in, camping, and traveling.
I love all the great meal-prep photos, you are inspiring!
I used to do so much meal prep when I lived alone. I recently moved in with my boyfriend and it just seems like no matter how much food I make, he eats whatever is left and I have nothing left over for meals.

Hi, I’m Cindy (Cre804) and back again for another go! Visitors have left, continuing education finished for another year, and a pretty open calendar for August. I’m attending a community yoga class at my church. It’s held for six weeks then a few weeks off. It really kicked my butt yesterday! My knee had been improving until then so I’m back to ice and compression, hopefully for just a few days. I’m researching places where I can take water aerobics and plan to start in September.
My biggest challenge this week is dealing with my sick pup. She’s 12 years old and has chronic kidney disease. Unless she makes a miraculous turnaround, we likely will be making the decision to send her over the Rainbow Bridge in a few days. It’s just such a hard thing to do. 😢
I’m glad to see the focus on meal prep. I tried to do a little menu planning for the week (mainly dinner) but I get so lost for lunch ideas. That’s something I want to work on this month.
August starting weight: 197.5
August Goal: lose 5 pounds
Additional goals: Get better with writing in my food diary, meal prep, increase water intake.6 -

I am so sorry to hear about your pup. The loss of a good friend and family member is so hard. Sending warm thoughts and prayers your way.1 -
Trying hard not to eat all of the food, all of the time and keeping up my exercise!
Mondays steps 15276 thanks to a lovely walk and catch up with an old mate. Also had icecream and a pub dinner...... all was very much enjoyed!
Today I did my couch to 10k training and had healthy three meals, shame about the snacks!
Tomorrow I'm going up to Scotland and so 7 hours on the road means probably a lack of exercise and too many car snacks and an unhealthy dinner on arrival..... at least I'm mindful of this happening so might make some slightly better choices, maybe!1 -

Goals for this week Tuesday to Saturday:
At least 15,000 steps each day
At least 5 minutes of meditation each day
Two strength training workouts
Two rounds of Couch to 5k (6-2 and 6-3)
No booze (derails both calories and workouts)!

Well yesterday was a bust for swimming as it started raining and there was a thunderstorm just after I got in the pool. I did walk so I was active. Last night was tough as I really had a hard time keeping from binging. My husband helped me focus and not give in.
Tuesday’s steps: 10,436
@ngk2000 great goals!
@kilobykilo enjoy your visit to Scotland. I am planning on going there in the New Year as my youngest lives there.
@cre804 so sorry about your pup being sick
@guitargirl55 can I get Sunday’s steps too?
@boehle great job sticking with the plan2 -

Good Morning.
I am a bit depressed as I have this magical new scale and I have been really documenting everything I am eating and I am up 2lbs from Sunday (and I have had no alcohol!)
Frustrating as all heck... but I am doing my best to being patient and trying to remind myself I am PMSing a little. Yadda. Life goes on. Today is technically a rest day for my 1/2 marathon training. Tomorrow is 2.5miles.6 -

Wednesday check in
Today is day 12 since my re-set. I feel like i am in a better place than I have been in well over a year. Before, I was just going thru the motions. Today, I am taking responsibility for what I put in my mouth - EVERY DARN BITE!
I think I mentioned in this thread that I have gone full nerd this time as well. I have made a spreadsheet (aside from MFP) where I use my MFP calorie count and my Fitbit calorie burn to track my exact deficit. As we have all heard, 3500 calories makes a pound... I want to see how accurate I am logging. Last week, my spreadsheet said I would lose 2.1 lbs and I lost 2.6. So far this week, I am at a deficit of 6376 or 1.8 lbs. Like I said... FULL NERD! This is super exciting to me.
Thank you everyone for all the support. Especially my half-sisters @boehle and @reginadhedden . Half sister... 13.1... get it (insert facepalm emoji here) They were the one that would txt and tell me to get off of my @$$ when no one else would! Tough love!!!
Do something today that your future self will be thankful for!8 -
