Updated steps for sept 2: 16,017
I will wait until after midnight to post todayβs steps since I will probably not be staying in bed. Last night both kids were up multiple times, probably excitement about the first day of school. Tonight my daughterβs fish died so she is having some existential dread and struggling to get to sleep. All the things I never learned about parenting before they arrived!

I was the fat kid growing up. I battle to this day of my own self talk. Accepting myself.
The reason I set goals is the fact to see my accomplishments and also give my self βself loveβ.
We are all so awesome wherever we are at!!! Never forget how awesome you are right now! Give yourself gratitude for trying or you wouldnβt be here. Awesome team!

@megnolia82 Steps are logged. We started school here Aug 12. My little one had problems sleeping the first week. Luck to you. Sorry about the fishy.
@Fitness327wk You are an awesome addition to this team. I am so grateful to have you. Yes, I think we don't give ourselves enough credit. A first step in obtaining our goals is reaching out to others for support. We are lucky to have everyone here to help us with that.3 -

I am at a stand still. I have lost a total of 82 pounds but have gained roughly 6 back. I have been up and down for the last 3 months. I have no true motivation. For the first part of my journey I did WW but it just seemed too restrictive and was making me overly consumed with food ( or journaling my food) For example, healthy fat like avocado or almonds was high in points but I could eat other not so healthy foods with lower point values at higher quantities. Anyway, for now I need to be able to just do calories in and calories out. WW doesn't usually allow for counting fit points towards daily points. So working out twice a day and not counting it was probably harming me in the sense that I wasn't eating enough to satisfy my body.
I really like the support that WW offers so for now I am keeping my account with them to still attend the meetings.
Alright, with all that being said, I am going to try and be here for the duration!
My September goals/daily goals:
1. Stick with the team challenge to the end! Check in on a regular basis.
2. Take my daily meds/vitamins.
3. Consistent with diet - better management of macros
