Its been raining since last night & when its like this I just want to lay around, read, sleep & EAT!! I did get in 7.5 from the ex bike though. Its always nice to have rain but we still have grain to be cut. Weather like this bleaches the grain & there for you get less money for it. As if the prices aren't low enough as it is!! Suppose to rain off & on ALL week!

@Janet:Good thought for you in Berlin. I did my first solid run this week without Gallowaying and my thighs hurt..lol. It is funny feeling muscle burn again after being out of the game for so long. My right knee did okay but my bone on bone left knee felt the down hills a bit. I went out hanging door hangers for my church yesterday and did these homes with long winding driveways or high climbing steps...ouch!

Sept 5 -Sept. 8: Add 45 miles of walking 31 mile walking, 4 running and 10 cycling.
    TTD: 87 miles

Got out and went for a walk. I try to do it every Sunday and think about the upcoming week, or just let my little brain wander.

Walked with my little Georgie 2.25 miles & then rode the ex bike 9.75 miles. Rode was a little muddy & I thinks its going to get worse with all the rain forecasted this week. Sure wish we had all of our fields combined...

The real dirty, rainy weather has arrived. Summer better not be over so soon. Seem like we only dried out only 6 weeks ago :'(

I'm getting my butt beat at work this month. Dogs I've worked with for some time that are dying of cancer and others that I've worked with short times but need to be euthanized and the owners are devastated. I put one down today that was husbands dog and he passed away from cancer a year ago. Now the dog ate a rock and needed surgery but the dog has so many other health problems it would never have made it through surgery. It was her last connection to her husband. She was devastated. Luckily she has family nearby and they were able to come help her through it. Some days I wish I had continued working as a janitor.

Saturday was our Fall Square to Square bike ride. I always ride square to square and back, so adding 60.93 miles for that.
Got up this morning and ran, adding 3.52 miles for that. I am ready for it to not be so hot, although I'm not ready for shorter days.

@Dean - What a terrible month. I hope you know how much everyone appreciates what you do - the pets you save, the pets you save from suffering - it's important work.

I did a 5 mile fast interval run this morning to put me at 28/75.

@dean I'm so sorry. I can't imagine doing what you do with animals and I say that as a people nurse. Animals get me every time. But we're all grateful for caring people who devote their lives to our fur babies.

Super humid outdoor Boot Camp this morning and I'm on my 21st 8 ounce cup of water. I think 22 is my personal record, I'm going for a new one.

Adding 2.2 miles, we did lots of running around the turf. Today's class involved picking cards out of the deck and doing what corresponded to it on the list. Jokers and Aces involved rolling a die and running that number of laps. The turf is a big rectangle, as we did more and more laps, my corner cutting got bigger and bigger.
