Exercise 39 minute run, 17 minutes Zumba Abs

Comments: It's Wednesday now. Tom, so tired and sleepy these past two days. Automatic weight gain, so fun. Bloated and fighting to keep my eyes open even though it's only 2:30pm. This happened to me yesterday too but I had errands to run and things to do so I didn't have a chance to nap. Now it's an option but I'm not sure if I'm better off actually taking a nap or forcing myself to do something.

General question...Napping, good? Bad? Sometimes necessary?

@143tobe Ah, the downside of adding back carbs. You will adjust. And as for the question of to nap or not to nap, I usually just go with it...

    Good morning!
    First November weigh-in:
    PW: 233.8
    CW: 228.4

It is fun to see the loss but the first week is always the easiest. I am assuming most of this is water weight and my stomach shrinking a bit. I think this next week will really show me a realistic weekly goal.

I will continue to swim in the mornings and keep tracking....here we go!
    Nice loss
    Mrsjas2000
    Tuesday
    Week 1
    PW 258
    CW 256
Have to have a colonoscopy tomorrow so my weight loss has more to do with not getting to eat much the last couple of days
    Nice loss
    Weigh-in - November week 1

    PW - 259.9
    CW - 258.2

    Nice loss

Thank you @143tobe and @AB0215 for the kind words. It’s kind of weird after my mom passed I didn’t like much being there because I missed her so much. But after my dads passing I just wanted to be in the house. I’ve not lived there for over 20 years and have lived out of state for over 4, but It will definitely be strange not to have that to go back to. I went back a few times to help clean out and I spent a lot of time reflecting on my childhood. My siblings and I were extremely lucky. We had wonderful parents. I hope one day my kids can say the same about me.

    Happy 4th Day TEAM SLIMSONS

By now everyone should've gotten the swing of things so here's this month 1st

    MOTIVATIONAL TIP: WATER

I know it's repetitive for some but it bears mentioning once again not only for the newbies but to us old timers as well. This month Challenge is for those that haven't reach their quota (TRY TO DRINK 8oz MORE THAN YOU USUALLY DRINK)

I think napping is good depending on your situation. You have to listen to your body. I myself took a nap today and feel much better (well as good as I can be in the hospital)

Comments: Been really sore this week with my new Weightlifting program, coach is trying to kill me I think, so I managed to get in about 20 mins of cardio at the gym before the soreness got to me so I cut that short. Well I guess the universe spoke to me because my neighbor asked me if I wanted to walk with her after work so I walked for an hour anyway. Guess I was meant to do it after all.

@AB0215 That is exactly what my trainer said. I am not stressing the weight at this point. I feel better and have more energy. I am getting use to eating the food in my meal plan. Never thought it would be a struggle to eat but believe me I am not complaining.

Other than working lots, I'm really fine.

@genajonas Believe me when I say this, I have ONLY lost weight when I was feeling good. So hang in there, and pay attention to the scale, but don't let it get to you if it's a bit up for a little while. It will catch up. Another thing to realize is that with the increased energy and whatnot, you will be able to put more of it into your workouts, and the return on investment there is worth it. You will build more muscle, which burns more fat and you will be feeling even better because exercise creates endorphins and endorphins make you happy (sorry Legally Blonde reference and I had to resist the urge to follow that with "and happy people just don't shoot their husbands")
My trainer told me the same thing at one point about not eating enough, not that I disagreed with him, but at the time I was testing a theory.

    Question of the Week:
With the holidays approaching, what is your plan to stay on track?

I am going to have a particularly challenging time this time around, Thanksgiving with my family is the 16th since I'll be traveling to NM to visit my mother in law for Thanksgiving this year and I've decided to stick to my eating plan regardless of what happens. I have already begun planning my menu for the dinner with my family (my mom and me eat Keto, my husband always cheats on Keto for Thanksgiving) so we have low carb options. This year's menu includes Sugar Free Low Carb Pumkpin Pie and Low Carb Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie and I'll be sticking to the plan when I travel to. I am in the final stages of my weight loss and I need to use the momentum to finish it!

Also on a side note, if your plan is simply to enjoy yourself, that's fine too, one day isn't going to kill you! (well for me, it might, but I'm also weird so...lol)
