Went over calories today, and im not even mad about it. I came in just under 2000 calories. I had a donut for dough day at work #worthit, and ordered pizza for dinner, again #worthit. Then i really really wanted peanutbutter and honey toast, so good. Now i i didn't do all bad, i was so busy at work, i put in 10,200 steps there, then came home and did 2.5 miles on the treadmill going between running, and walking at a 10% incline, burning 317 calories, so i think i came out about even today. Now im off the next 3 days, so plenty of time to burn calories.5

I'm not hungry...and am VERY proud of myself...
Apologies if this didn't make sense...perhaps I'm the only one who constantly readjusts...but my job can be kinda stressful (IT related) and today was bad.
Hoping for a good day tomorrow with my piano students...we shall see!
Hope ya'll had a wonderful Friday!

Well done! It’s awesome to readjust rather than throwing in the towel (which is far easier to do)! Great job!!!2 -

I hope tomorrow is much more stress free for you. I think we all have to make adjustments and do what works for us. You are doing great!1 -

@jessicakrall8 good job on the readjusting!
and @angmarie28 good job on being flexible with your approach. I totally want some pizza now, might make some cheese/tomato on toast and see if that hits the spot!
After all, it's all about flexibility and being able to build habits so we can keep on doing this for a real long time3 -

You rock!!! It’s the days that it’s really hard that matter. The constant adjusting is what thin people do automatically, and the most important thing the rest of us are still learning - how to balance the calories in/out. Congrats for a wonderfully successful day 😊2 -

This morning I felt the usual weekend daemons churning, leading to thoughts of saying F it and indulging in the numbing / short lived pleasures of junk food and alcohol. But I’m here to say that I didn’t succumb! I luckily had some healthy food already prepped so I took this cue from my body and broke my usual Intermittent Fasting schedule so I could eat something healthy first thing - instead of trying to wait for 11 am and possibly tipping my weakened resolve over the line. Also did some journaling to vent my emotions and to try to sort my thoughts leading to these unhealthy instincts. Also reminding myself of how bad I feel after I eat badly - emotionally and physically. Trying to focus on the positive and to nourish all aspects of my being so that I can continue to find strength and endurance on this journey.6

Awesome loss Drea! I am in favour of modifying a goal as you go especially if you realize it might be too much for you or lead to you giving up completely. I have learned to do the same. I hope your next week and your fasting goals go well. You are doing amazing!3 -

This happens. I have nothing but sympathy for your struggle as it is a struggle we share. I also have confidence that you will find the way to continue towards your goal. ❤️2 -

This is great Jessica! Way to focus and work through your stress and your cravings in a manageable way that led to this beautiful result! I am VERY proud of you too! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1 -
@jessicakrall8 -- Awesome to readjust and to come up with the plan that's even better! I admire you're repeated walks!!
@SaraMakingChanges -- Great job switching focus and remembering your long term goals instead of succumbing to instant gratification (and a stomach ache!) You are awesome! Hope that weekend is going well!
@DreaRN15 -- Awesome progress. What are you doing fasting-wise? Is it an eliminate certain foods fast?
