Ugh. Woke up feeling off yesterday and downright rotten today. Just lifting the cat off my lap to get more tea was exhausting. The only advantage is having nearly no appetite, but I can’t exercise or get things off my to do list. Ugh.6

I can’t believe how much sugar there is, in food; I have cut out all added sugar, since the first, and my protein shakes are sweetened with fruit, monks fruit and stevia. I STILL get 100 grams daily, wow!0

Isn't it amazing that when we truly set our minds to something, we can accomplish nearly anything if we try?! Yesterday, I stayed home because I was sick and rested most of the day, but I still tried to do a few things around the house, stick to my planned meals and cook dinner. Made the absolute best batch of chicken in my air fryer that I've ever made...discovered a new coating mix that is beyond believeable in flavor (www.chickencrack.com) AND made myself get up out of bed and do an aerobic workout for 40 minutes to sweat out whatever it was that I had (cold)! Felt great, got the highest step count for the week and really felt proud of myself.
I'm really enjoying the habit tracker and it's giving me that extra layer of accountability that I need!
Tonight I walked for 20 minutes after my two piano lessons and enjoyed the last two pieces of my chicken and limas. Delicious AND UNDER CALORIES! YESSSsssss!
Hope ya'll had an awesome day! Sorry to be so perky...but it feels good to stick to a plan!

I've been on my fitness pal forever.. have gone through lots of cycles of losing a lot of weight but then gaining it back. Sadly I've lost 125 lb twice in my life and gained it. And hoping this time will be different I am trying to completely avoid sugar and flour since I know those are addicting and I have found I can't have those in moderation because then I slipped back into my old ways even after a little bit and believing I'm strong. I found this group from one of my MyFitnessPal posting about it and thought it could be very motivating to stay on track.
Hi Sabrina 👋 Welcome!
I’m Sara, 42 years old / mom of 2 grown daughters (22 and 19) and I’ve been struggling with the regain / lose cycle for a while here. Trying to figure out how to reach my goal weight and maintain it has been the hardest part of this journey for me. You are not alone!3 -

Just added another great reason to exercise to my list:
This evening I left work a bit early to fit in my Week 9 Couch to 5K session before sunset. I decided to head towards a local lake and when I got there I saw a huge murmuration of starlings displaying. Watching them swirl around against the sunset was truly beautiful and it has really made my day!8
