4. Ai caramba. This went wrong on Thursday. I deliberatly drank two glasses of wine, but I must say it kicked me in the back, as I didn't sleep well due to palpitations and a feeling of nervousness during the night. I only have this when I drink alcohol and I think it's time that I listen to what my body is trying to say: the time of G&T's, wines and afterdinner drinks is over. I'll save a nice glass of red for the occasional weekend lunch. But no more than one, and no longer in the evening as it messes up my sleep too much. I'm getting old I guess ...

Saturday I was at a party having a difficult time, but I abstained! - Since I can't seem to control portions, food needs to be optimum this month: very simple dinners consisting mainly of cottage cheese with fruit, or meat with basic veggies and zero additions. And for the love of everything: cut back on carbs!
- Stop buying dates and nuts. Got in the habit of visiting the weekly market because I so love fresh dates and I deluded myself by saying "But they have lots of fiber and are low glycemic index" -> BS woman, they are still clumps of delicious sugar. No more.

Stomach: 84cm (33,07") -1cm || 83cm
Waist: 76cm (29,92") -1cm || 75cm
Belly/Upperhips: 92cm (36,22") -1cm || 91cm
Hips: 100cm (39,37')

17 Feb: -0,6kg || 67,2kg (148,15lbs) || I'm happy with the results and must say they are earned. I'm not eating super clean persé (had pancakes and waffles this weekend), but definitely below my calorie budget + I'm running again. Still contribute the success to playing the game all day long; no time for eating!
And most of my gained measurements (2cm on average) have been halved again. Really hope it continues like this and I'll be soon back to where I was 3 months ago...(damn you end of year holidays!)

So, back in the game again. Week went solala. I'm glad that on a whole I lost what I gained during the holiday trip but the swings between some single days are telling me that I'll have to be more mindful than normal of what I put into my tummy if I don't want the upwards-trend to gain momentum again. Food was not too bad last week, although Thursday and Friday both saw some cake and yesterday some homemade pizza. All in moderation but it's slowing things down, as does the alcohol which I enjoyed for valentine's and my bf's birthday last week. Still yummy, so no beating myself up over it but also reminding myself that it could have been less of it.
As for goals: #1 is on the way - already back to what I had before the holiday trip. The rest should follow soon enough. #2 looking good - stayed consistent and didn't skip anything, except the weekend. #3 is on the way too - started with 1x running 45 minutes and a pole class (including extra stretching at the end) last week. This week, lower distance runs (ca. 8 km per run) but twice, plus a pole class. In-laws stopping by the coming weekend, let's see how time will allow to add some stretching at home this week with all that's on the to-do list.

Respect for the party without alcohol, that is the most difficult situation.

Anyway, I am getting close to my Feb goal, and so is he. He has lost 12 lbs (12 more to go!) since he started low carb. I'm feeling strong and just enjoying life right now! (eventho work situation is down hill)

2/3 - 138.6 - Sick as a dog, I went to urgent care last Thursday and they thought bronchitis... but I don't think so, I've barely been able to eat anything for a week. Spent the wknd in bed. Guess I'm going back tomorrow if I don't get some relief. On the upside - I've never lost so much weight so fast in my life.
2/5 - 140.8 - I think I'm returning to the land of the living. Went back to urgent care 2/3 at midnight, so freakin sick.... I had the flu & an ear infection. This week I'm concentrating on nothing but rest and eating decent foods. Made it back to work this afternoon, here's hoping for a quick afternoon.
2/6 - 142.0 - First day in literally 2 wks I've felt sorta like myself!!! I'm taking it easy the rest of the week, but trying to be mindful of what I eat. My weight has been all over the place, I've hardly been eating much - but I think it needs a few days to stabilize.
2/12 - 144.2 - time to get back to paying attention. We've had a few movie nights (rarity - popcorn, m&ms, all the junk food).....and I made a big batch of chicken Alfredo last night. Snow this morning, but my fiance is off till Friday so it's a good time for me to skip dinner and tighten down a bit. Pretty sure I'm gonna get stuck cleaning stalls this evening, there's 11 of them - so I'm going to count that as my workout today.
2/13 - it's a fight to find my motivation today. Sure, I'll have a couple of those Valentine's cupcakes - pass 'em on over. This day will get better!
2/21 - 143.6 - Eeek, I've done awful checking in this month. Things have just been crazy & I haven't had anytime for myself. I do have this next week all to myself, so it's going to be easy to really slash calories and work on me! I'm fasting today to get my body 'reset'. Happy Friday! Fun to get back on here and see everyone killing it!5 -

I ran 5 miles this morning. It was pretty good and easy, but I fell with only about 10 min to go and ripped my favorite pair of running leggings I just went out to lunch with my husband and I'm back to feeling disgusting. There has been way too much eating out this weekend. I wouldn't be surprised if I would've been an extra pound or so down from what I weighed in at. One more week to hit goal!5 -

2/22 - 147 lbs. Anyone else avoid the scale when they think they've gained the weight back??? That's what happened to me the last couple of weeks, which is why I've been a little quiet on here. Thankfully, I didn't gain and actually lost just a bit (.6 lbs). I won't make my February goal of 144, but I'm hoping for 145 by the end of next week. I've enjoyed continuing to read through everyone's progress on here! And huge congrats to you, @weatherking2019 !!!4
