@Dave: I was up late and I checked stats and saw that she was close. Did not mean to steal your thunder. It is such an awesome accomplishment.
@Lovemyalex: I feel like there is always an extremely overweight person in me fighting to get out. They say it is suppose to get easier the longer one keeps the weight off. But I always feel like it is sitting there waiting for me to slip up. I try to keep reminders around of how I looked and how I never want to be there again. So you keep wearing out x bikes as long as you can.
@k80flec: Waht an adorable grandson. Congratulations to your son and DIL! It is always wonderful to celebrate some happy moments again.
May 13 and 14: I have had such crazy couple of days. Got 12 miles in walking but my bike sits idle...poor thing.
TTD: 155 miles

@lovemyalex Wow. I'm in awe.
@clepant I'm feeling the same way. My inner fat person is trying to come back and it's been getting hard to keep her in. I'm eating all the cookies all the time. Had a conversation with my dietitian a few months ago and said out loud that I was tired of this journey, which I am, although it's changed my life for the better and I don't want to go back to what I was. Trying to work it out in my head.
4.7 miles. Walks are great therapy. Did see a large black racer snake on the path and called out to the woman pushing a stroller and not paying attention before she ran over it. They're harmless and I didn't want to see it get hurt.

Oh my gosh, what happened to this week. I had 49 unread posts! Well I knew this was going to be a crazy month so I set a low goal and tried to get ahead of it, so I'm still in the green in spite of a wasted week.
@k80flec - so cute! how can you stand it?
@Lovemyalex - wow, what an accomplishment!
And last but not least - congrats to @kar328 on making GOAL!2 -

Thank all for your good wishes. Sam is indeed a sweetie. I cared for him for a few hours yesterday whilst his mummy went to get her C-section stitches and dressing checked. One of the nurses scared the life out of her (and my son when he found out - he had to wait in the car). Mummy had to go back onto the delivery suite to see a consultant when some very bruised tissue was thought to have necrosis.
Another milestone missed due to lockdown .... eldest grandson 5yrs 5/12’s rode his bike without stabilisers (training wheels) ... he’s done ALL his bike riding with us (mummy gets nervous). We sent his bike home as there was a risk he’d outgrow it before he spent time with us again.
@kar328 - yep, eating all the cookies. I maintained wonderfully for 6 years .... then my OH retired. I’ve put on 10lb I know it’s because I’m less active. I’m regularly struggling to get 10k steps a day.

Dave - That is Amazing! 100 lbs lost! Sorry I've been absent and missed that milestone. That is Awesome. That takes some real dedication to achieve that. My hat is off to you!.2
