Thanks, @Krysless2. I have another friend who mentioned "leg raises" in her workout, so I have been wondering.

168! Lots more steps this week and I'm starting to ride a bike... first ride was today..hopefully I can walk tomorrow 😁

@RoseyandReady walking should be fine, it's sitting on a skinny object like a bicycle seat that'll get you. But don't let that stop you from riding again. Biking is my favorite thing to do.

I really enjoyed getting out there... it felt freeing after being inside so much. The bike is at the shop now, gears were a little clicky... probably should have had it tuned up before riding it... as it sat for 2 years, it was brand new and given to me. I can't wait ti get it back! My goal is to be able to ride to and from work each day.

@cmhubbard92 @brandi_84 @Krysless2 and the rest of TBBT. I’d like to apologize for missing both weeks one and two. Its not right for the team and it is apparent my focus is not here, so with that I will be taking leave of this group. You are all amazing and your consistent efforts are inspiring. I will still be Using MFP and I am glad to have yall as personal MFP friends. Please keep up the solid work and I wish yall the best of success!!πŸš΄β€β™‚οΈπŸ’ͺπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

@GuessimGryffindor we all have moments like that, but just know that you are only missing the week 2 weigh in on our spreadsheet. If you want, you can still weigh in this week and remain on the team! The choice is yours! πŸ’œ

I had a better day yesterday. Started slow, but once I got going I felt pretty good. I stepped on the scale this morning and things are under control again. I may even be below my week #1 weigh-in....I wasn't closely paying attention, just looking to see if the second number was a "7"! I am still eating most of my exercise calories back, but if the scale keeps cooperating, then I need to not be worried about that; just accept that I can eat more to lose weight!

    You are doing great!!

How do you consistently get so many steps each day? (I thought you said you worked from home, which would make it harder to do!)

@HASWLRS oh they'll definitely go down once I go back to the office! I exercise before work so I usually get 2-3K then, unless I'm spinning in which case I get none. LOL Every hour when my Fitbit tells me I need to get up I go to the end of the cul de sac and about (about 4 houses each way). I walk during lunch (about 1.5 miles) and I pace up and down the driveway during conference calls. Then I walk after dinner.

When I go back to work the hourly will drop to a trip to the ladies and meetings will drop to zero as I'll be sitting in a conference room for 1-2 hours at a time. Then the after dinner walk will become a 10 mile bike ride, I'll be lucky to make my goal of 12K. I don't mind though, I'm more than happy to trade steps for a ride on my bike. :)

The MUAC results are based on having a yes for each Tracking, Under Calories, and Exercise.
So if even one of those is a no, it is not counted. I still encourage posting daily results even if all the criteria is has not been met to help build habit. And, for some, it helps with accountability.

Since we still haven't been going out much, my husband has been trying really hard to make sure we are enjoying stay at home life. Everytime he goes to the store he brings home a different type of coffee for me to try. You should see my cabinets filled with boxes of coffee. I wish I could handle three cups a day. I hope where you are the weather gets nicer.

@brandi_84 Sounds good! For Mother's Day my son got me a World Tour of Coffee where I get a pound of coffee from a different place each month. Last month it was Burundi and this month Tanzania. I was a little concerned since the real reason that I drink coffee is to have something to put my pumpkin spice coffee mate in. LOL The coffees has been very good though, very smooth. Not bitter like some coffee can be. I had to buy an adapter for my Keurig so that I can use ground coffee instead of a K-cup, but it works fine. Maybe I'll get my third cup now since talking about it has made me want one. LOL
