Had a scare last week. Gained 3 pounds - and I wasn’t even eating that badly!! Then I remembered that I went back to weight training. I was so sore the next day - I couldn’t get out of bed without pushing myself up with my arms. My poor quads hurt so badly. But it went away in a few (5) days - and so did the weight, which was obviously water retention from the weightlifting. Good reminder not to slack off with my weights - I get the pain AND the gain.

I can totally sympathise @simbersea. I've done the crawling out of bed more than once after a weights session. Once I pulled my stomach muscles so bad I had to stand up in stages. It was like i was reenacting the evolution of man! 🤣

Great job joyfulnoise and arc for your milestones. I'm back now from my dad's and he has a new front plants on his two new gardens. Ripped it all out and started new and added to the other side a new bed and half. What a job! 7 hours later and it was done.

Thanks, Jennifer! I'm so happy to be in Onederland! 😊

Gardening is a lot of work, but satisfying! You would have burned lots of calories, too!

I miss the two magic numbers challenge. I tried to keep at it myself. Have been doing ok in the water intake but suck at the step count

Just a thought, but if you're struggling to meet your step count maybe it's worth reducing the number to something manageable (but a little stretching) and then slowly upping the target over a few weeks?
