Yes, I've done those stretches. The plantar seems gone for now, so I'm trying to rest the Achilles. I'm not a high heel wearer, but I'm a runner. And yes, Morton's nueroma. Years ago I went into my favorite running store, explained the issue, and the owner put pads under my insoles. Instant relief! I can't add photos to a post or message, but it's not a typical metatarsal pad.1 -
Today was a crazy day. My son got hurt when I was on Zoom Meeting for reopening schools. The meeting was basically a plan to make a plan to make a plan!!! I had work I wanted to get done for my online business, but that didn't happen. The baby is very fussy. I haven't showered. I did not workout, which isn't the end of the world. I was going to take a rest day Thurs, but I took it today instead. Plus, my calories were low today. I actually hot my macros perfectly. Yes, I measured everything. 😀6

Yikes! What a day. You are amazing to have done so well on your food measuring and hitting your macros perfectly! One thing was totally under control even if the rest went all crazy on you. Well done!4 -
@conleywoods ballet workouts sound really fun! And like a lot of work. Don't feel embarrassed, embrace those sore muscles 😉 Do you have videos that you follow or take a course?
@Terytha I want to hear about that chocolate wine - is it thick like milk or more wine-like consistency? I recently switched to the occasional hard seltzer instead of a glass of wine to reduce calories and carbs, so I will have to live vicariously through you lol but if chocolate wine is any good I might have to try it sometime!
I feel really good about my food and exercise today. I was dreading extra dishes due to measuring everything but I realized my mason jars have measurements on the side so I used one of those to make my protein smoothie this morning so that wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. Some of my choices weren't the healthiest, but I kept portions in check (I.e. half of a chicken quesadilla from taco bell for lunch is better than a whole one!) and I got a good amount of steps today. I honestly didn't expect to be motivated to do much after working 11 hours in the office, but I got a boost of energy so I went for a bike ride, did some housework, and watered and weeded the flower bed. All in all a productive day 😊4 -
So yesterday I wrote out this long post, and it never posted, I wonder if I just forgot to hit post... I don't know I swear I sometimes think my brain is just going kaputt... anyway it was about 2 things
1- that meal thingy I got, it was called Every Plate - it was yummy, I will totally do that again until we run out of the discounted weeks.. ( You get 3, so I will finish mine, then have the Hubby sign up for 3 more, then get my son to sign up for 3 more) alot of people say that the servings size are too small, but I found them to be just right, mostly each meal was 500-600 calories, except last nights that was 800 but it had white rice, and I didn't finish it.. I don't like alot of rice, and it was ALOT... Anyway, highly recommend, and it was reasonably priced, for 4 meals for 2 people it was $ 32.00 ( that's with the coupon)...
2- Got my blood results My cholesterol is high-ish.. It's 216 - but that was unfasted, last time I did it, it was 216 fasted, and 252 unfasted.. so I am going to say it's going in the right direction... but apparently my B12 is off the charts, I do take a supplement, so I have to stop taking that and get retested soon... I always thought B12 was one of those vitamins that you couldn't take too much of, but it can also be a sign of other things, so as long as it drops back to a normal # - it should all be fine, if not they have to start looking at other stuff... All the other numbers were good...
3- I am leaving to go camping tomorrow - well not really camping we have a cabin for 3 days, and will tent camp for 1, we are going to the Shenandoah Valley, it's a section of the Blue Ridge Mountains, it's so pretty there... We will be tubing, fishing and hiking... I have done absolutely nothing to get ready for this trip yet, so tonight and tomorrow morning I will be super busy...
Have a great day !

Happy Canada Day! Or Wednesday! Or Rabbit Rabbit - whatever floats your boat today.
Thanks for the super positive and fun messages @jguldi11 and @Gidgitgoescrazy - even if your brain is going kaput, you have too much B12 or you are thinking about chocolate wine. (my face goes all scrunchy and weird even thinking about that one)
Business first! Then today is mad pesto day. I have too much fresh oregano, basil, and arugula. Watch out.
Catch up! Late weigh-ins needed ASAP -
@graceojo999
@alexsandramorff
@eponymoose (maybe you have left the team? this is the last chance not to be dropped)
@CM_73 (I know you're probably still floating around in a boat, so no worries)

Weigh in day - ugg
PW: 179.2
CW: 179.8
Time to stop this madness. Each week for the past month I seem to keep going the wrong direction. Although my high during the past week is 181, so down but up. Goal by end of month is 173. The upward trend is done!2 -

😂😂 @eggfreak I was in the middle of typing whatever my message was and the little one got up from her nap, so I hit send real quick so I wouldn’t lose it. Lol Never got back to it, but your response gave me a good giggle.1 -

Happy Canada Day to all our fellow Canadians!
We pulled our trailer down to my home town in central Alberta on Monday afternoon since my sister was coming home for a visit. Thought we would play some golf but it has done nothing but rain, hard! So lots of cards and board games but no real exercise I think I'm keeping my eating on track though, although I don't have a scale in the trailer. We're heading home tomorrow so I guess we'll see on Friday's weigh in...3 -
Here is some of the info about why we hit pleatues during weight loss. I think it's helpful to know why. You can make a better plan once you know what is going on!
The suggestions for breaking a pleatuea are:
1. Ride the Wave-just keep following your plan and wait it out. Your body will adjust and get back to loosing.
2. Meet your calorie budget- measure and log accurately.
3. Move more- high intensity workouts suppress appetite FYI. Low or moderate intensity exercises increase appetite. Something to think about!
4. Find new ways to measure progress and stay positive.8 -

Of course, if you stay stuck and aren't being accurate about your food logging, get out the scales and measuring cups and spoons again...4 -
@conleywoods Thanks for sharing this. Lots of food for thought. (I'm pretty sure though there are no calories to be logged in food for thought!)3

@Gidgitgoescrazy We usually go cabin camping and I love it, best of both worlds. I keep seeing people post tent pics and that makes me want to go tent camping....but not with a 10 month old.
@conleywoods Thanks for sharing. I feel like I live in a platue so that gives me something to think about. I am pretty sure my platues are caused by lack of consistency though.
My kids have been rough today. I am not proud of how I handled a situation with my 10 year old. 🤦♀️ I wanted to eat or drink, but instead I did second workout. Then, poured a drink.🤷♀️4 -
Chocolate wine is amazing.
It's basically Bailey's but thicker like milk with less alcohol bite/after taste. It's alcoholic chocolate milk!
... With the calorie cost to match. *sigh*
But it's good for special events.

Weight: 182
I’ll catch up on steps tomorrow. This weather has been crappy for several days and tomorrow is supposedly going to be hugely hot. Hmm. Well, my tomatoes and eggplant will go nuts! That’s good.
I love the zany things y’all have been writing and plan to catch up more in the morning. Brief Intro:
I live in Vermont; am the mother of 2 adult daughters, and am studying to become a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). I live with my spouse, Sarah James (my 3rd), and have been furloughed from massage work since 3/17. The Inn is open now but I’m not feeling ready to get back into the swing of things, yet.
Sleep well. More Thursday.

Good morning, feeling back on track. Minor stress yesterday when my work call threw an unexpected curve ball about how we'll be going back to the office, me alternating with my boss, one week in, one week work from home, one week in...etc..and the office gets a deep clean on the weekends. I ALMOST reached for food but did not. Dad coverage at home the biggest stressor but we worked it out and we'll just see how it goes. Happy to have my food scale back in action and the scale went back in the right direction. I didn't go so far as to actually run/jog, but, remembering one of my listed habits on the habit tracker and tips from Steph in LUX, I opened the brand new earbud package, looked up running music on youtube, and marched briskly around the garden with my umbrella. Getting into some better running duds and my sneakers next time, I will pick up the pace and start giving this a try.
