I'm having a bad week. Works been piling up, my dogs not well, I miss my friends. I'm literally the opposite of a huggy person but I really, really miss hugs 😢 darn pandemic.
So I'm eating rubbish, which makes me feel rubbish, which makes me eat more rubbish.

I am hoping I can end August with a total loss overall. I don't know if I will.

I was hoping the gain wouldn't be this bad but I'm not surprised I guess. The wedding is today, company leaves Monday, and then life will go back to normal. Determined to have a nice loss next week! Have a great day everyone

I hope you enjoyed the wedding. I know you will have a great loss this coming week as you are so determined.

Steps -- not sure when I last reported this week. However, have done at least my 3000 steps each day; many days much more, just not tracking.

Been super busy week. Major time input for several volunteer efforts still dealing with Flooding issues -- food, shelter, clothing, misc household needs, etc.

Next week should be back to "normal" ... whatever that word means these days ... and will be more in control of fixing my own food instead of having food provided. Thank Goodness!!

I was wondering where you had been the last few days. That is awesome that you volunteer. Looking forward to your check ins to see how your week is going.

Do not give up! Leave the negative thoughts behind and start looking for positive things. If you cannot think about them, do them.

Stick to your diet and whenever you feel like you want to eat rubbish, go out and go for a walk. Bring a bottle of water and just walk around the neighborhood and drink water.

Emotionally will let you focus away from the rubbish food.
Physically, the water will help you with the "need to eat" feeling and the walking will give you endorphins, which will tell your body that you do not need to eat rubbish because these will make you feel good.

I am so sorry your dog is not well. You are right, the pandemic really sucks. I am sending you a virtual hug. With the eating maybe you can set some small goals to break the cycle of eating garbage. Don’t set too many just 1 or 2 that help you focus on the problem. I know it is tough to break these cycles but just take it one day at a time. As you might know I have been trying to break the cycle of late night eating/binge eating. One thing I do is I reward myself the next day if I accomplish my goal of not doing that. Usually it is something as simple as watching an extra episode of a tv show. I hope this week is better for you.

    Saturday’s check in
    Calories: over
    Exercise: none
    Water:✅
    Steps: 7,625
    DBF: 5

I didn’t walk yesterday but I spent 90 minutes in the pool with my granddaughter. Lots of activity in that time.

Slightly over on calories but not due to night eating just some higher calorie foods during the day. Starting Monday, I am going to get back to walking so I will be adding some more daily goals.

What are your goals this week?

    Week 4 goals
    1. Walk 30 minutes daily
    2. 9000 steps daily
    3. No late night snacking/binge eating

I haven't cooked since Thursday. But will be doing so tomorrow. I've just been doing some breakfast burritos that I prepped on Wednesday. Super easy and freezer friendly. Matter of fact, I'm going to see what I'll be making :)

I apologize for not being a great motivator lately .... Still not feeling the greatest but I feel a little better then I did ...I am struggling with motivation myself ...I did a little meal prep yesterday but it was mostly my homemade blue cheese...mayo and vanilla coffee cream ..no meals yet ....I am hoping to workout this coming week but I will not be doing the kettle bell 8 week workout ...I am not ready for that intense workout ...maybe down the road ... Congrats to Bettyboag, Marigorringo and Melichalupa for placing 1st , 2nd and 3rd for our team losses ...Well done .... Great job for all you lost this week ... Let's all have a great week :)

Well I'm not going to moan about staying the same as I pulled my back at work Monday. Taken lots of strong pain killers but they bunged me up!! Steps were down as it hurt 😞. But my inch loss is amazing, I did it twice to make sure lol. Plus down a size in knickers lol.
Well done to everyone xxx ❤❤

    Morning all,

Here for Monday check in. I stepped on the scales and came out at 250 to my surprise again due to being like 250.8 yesterday. Will have to see if that remains with weight fluctuations and if it does, I'll hopefully go into the 40's next week :)
