@knlizght, well done on a successful first week with a three pound loss!! That's a great start to September for you and for TBBT!! And keep walking around the block....you will eventually get to 20 minutes and beyond, building on it each time!! Slow and steady wins the race!3

Hey new team members and regulars.
I pretty much dropped out of the last half of August. One week vacation, the next week work really took over my life. While work is still taking over my life, I need to be accountable because that 4 pound gain to end the month pissed me off.
I having been struggling to get myself out of “vacation mindset”. But that also falls into not being accountable.
My goal for this week is just to get back to accountability through the labor day holiday. Then next week I plan to kick myself back into gear. Ideally i’d like to be out of the 260’s by the start of October2 -

Going to add in a morning walk tomorrow before I log into work, I do a lot of body weight/weight lifting, so figured I'd add the walk to balance things out.3 -

The rules say 20 minutes of daily activity, so I would think you would be correct.
@HASWLRS Perhaps you could provide some insight on this?
I have also wondered if that counts, as I often break up exercise in 10-15 increments throughout the day. But have not encountered the scenario when tracking the member's daily logs.1 -

I would say that it counts. 20 minutes is 20 minutes, whether it is all at once or in smaller increments. Especially when someone is just starting out, they need to start slowly and work their way up to 20. IMHO 😊3 -
Thanks so much for the advice @DaffyGirl88 @brandi_84 and @HASWLRS - that would be a lot more achievable for me. At the moment I struggle to stand for 20 consecutive minutes... 2x10 is perfect - thankyou2

Hello, all! One of my rare days at work, so just reading these posts now. And yes, you have all come to the correct conclusion that 20 minutes of activity is 20 minutes, whether you do it all at once or break it into manageable increments.
@jmb6739, nicely done on your first weigh-in for September!
@knlizght, congratulations on joining the gym! Make sure you get someone to set you up on a personalized program, with your goals and abilities in mind! That's what they do!2 -

So yesterday was the first day I got back to tracking for the first time in over two weeks. Today was the first day I hit all three goals. Taking small steps back into this and feeling good again.
Also, gyms have reopened in my state. Not sure how comfortable I feel, in regards to other people’s cleanliness and wearing a mask while exercising. I think I will stick to outdoor workouts until I feel this out more.3 -

I agree with others thoughts on this. Sometimes when it’s been raining I will do two separate 10-15 minute youtube video workouts and have always counted it as 20 minutes or more on the day3 -
