    I didn’t do anything today. I hope to get back on track tomorrow when I head home. I did meet my third new cousin in a week - this time, it was at a local museum I visited with an out-of-town friend. I love history and meeting new relatives. It fascinates me.

    Don't give up. Keep striving towards your goals. I had a bad week as well but I also loss some inches so I'm looking at that angle. Find some NON-SCALE victories that you have conquer and I'm sure it would lift your spirits to know you're making progress. Keep your head up YOU GOT THIS!!

    Look at this way it's only .6 ounces which could contribute to many things. I bet you have some NON-SCALE victories that will tip the scale on the progressing you have made on this journey. ROOTING for you!!

    So today I woke up with exercise on my mind then remember I had a drs appt so I had to skip my usual workout.

    Today is my baby's 8th birthday

    Went to my diabetic eye exam (hopefully the last one as a diabetic 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾) good report, previously told I had sarcoidosis in my eyes and a recipient of glaucoma in my later years well both of those facts were unfounded at my eye exam YAY YAY!

    Came home & ate a late lunch and instead of pushing myself to workout I decided to make some high protein snack treats so I will stick to my food plan and not give into temptation when craving sweets so using my almond flour protein PB-chocolate chip cookies recipe I made 48 cookie balls at 63cal each I am alloted 4 a serving.

    So today was a good day. I also picked up two accountability buddies from FB Charlotte friends group. Which will also keep me on track to my short-term goal to lose 25lbs by Nov. 15

    Thanks. It was not a surprise since I tracked my calories through our Thanksgiving holiday. Appreciate your kindness and advice.
